I was skeptical at the price, but what the heck? Ordered 4 units, got them in 2 days, and they work and fit perfectly in my PBL rectangular softboxes. I thought the spacing would be too tight "between" sockets, but I can just fit 4 x 105 CFLs ... Highly recommended.

Installed four LED lights into this thing and using it in my garage. Lot's of light with less watts than my old 100-Watt bulb it replaced.

Ok, so I used in my ceiling fan. The light I had was the single globe and it is in my dining room. It never gave enough light. I tried to find a light kit for my fan that wasn't expensive, but some of the light kits are as much as buying a new fan. I didn't want to do that just yet. So I got one of these and some decorative bulbs. It actually looks halfway decent and the light is much better.

performs as claimed. The white sockets are secured with very small screws into the black plastic and are easily pulled out and stripped. However they make the unit very "serviceable", which I love, so you can open it up and repair it quite easily.

Nicely made and good working to make a single socket hold four light bulbs. I used it to hold four fluorescent low wattage bulbs to put out LOTS more light than the single 100 watt bulb I replaced.

Worked well. Good unit for the price. Using it in the garage so I can screw in 4 CFLs, which have much lower heat than standard bulbs. Used this in a single socket Levitron 9875 which I installed for an overhead garage light. I had previously installed a 50 watt LED floodlight. What a mistake. The description claimed 500 watt equivaleent, but was more like 100 watt (and it burned out in less than a year, although it should have lasted ten). MY LOSS WAS MY GAIN. I put four 13 watt CFLs in the unit and it produces three times the light as the LED it replaced. I bought the CFLs for $1 each, plus the cost of the 4 socket adapter and the Levitron Outlet box. Total cost was under $15 vs $55 for the LED light. The foursome casts light around the entire garage. The LED focused light on only half (and was still dimmer for the half). I am so glad the LED burnt out and I now have this.

Its awesome. What a simple concept. Instead of trying to get one HUUUGE expensive bulb (such as a collosal CFL) for a space like a garage, this allows you to split it up and use multiple smaller and more cost effective bulbs to get the same result. Sure you can get a PacLights 250W equiv LED bulb for um.. 200 bucks? Or get this and 4 60W equiv onsale for 5 bucks each. Win!

WARNING: the single screw probably wont fit into your desired socket! Its just too short as is. You will most likely need a Screw extender. Best I found was an "adapter" that screwed in, added two plugin sockets on the sides (which I just capped off), and a light socket at the bottom. Was narrow enough to work as a good extension so I could use it.

I have lamps that are the only light source for two large rooms. I also am energy conscious and have tried to install large CFLs to light those rooms. The result is unsatisfactory. Finally I stumbled upon these and tried them in both the torchere and the table lamps, with 60W equivalent daylight LED bulbs also reviewed here on Amazon. Placing 4 of the LED bulbs in this fixture results in the lighting equivalent of 240W with an actual cost of only 40W to run. We can illuminate our large living room and family room now without heating the place up or worrying about wasting energy. LED bulbs are not available in brighter/larger sizes so this is a good way to get high efficiency and brightness.

I have a large area to light with just one fixture. I used for years the circular 150w light but felt like I needed more light. So in researching brighter bulbs I came across this 4 socket adapter. I put on 4 LED 60w equivalent bulbs and voila! I got a lot more light. Since I have a very high ceiling the LED are great so it will be years since I need to replace them.

I am so happy with this thing. I bought an old stained glass lamp at a flea market for $4. It was caked in filth and the electrical parts were all but destroyed and it only took one light bulb. My husband rewired it and we screwed this into it and it made it perfect for my kitchen! We live in a log cabin so bright lighting is essential. I will buy more of these.
