I once read that "fantasy is imagination unrestricted by reality." Sandra Evertson has got that theory down.

Her book, Fanciful Paper Flowers, is the perfect follow-up to the previous book, Fanciful Paper Projects. Each page is filled with some of the most creative projects I have ever seen. Into a crafter's world of what can frequently entail rather monotonous and uninspiring projects, Evertson breathes new life. Not unlike the projects in her previous books, the paper flower projects in this book really open the imagination and remind us of the true artistry of crafting. I highly recommend picking up a copy. You won't regret it!

Sandra Evertson has done it again. This book is a great addition to Sandra Evertson's artistic vision. I have purchased all of her other books and they have opened up my eyes to the potential of papers of all kinds. I've also noticed the influence of her work on other artists. This new book is exceptional. She has risen to the challenge of what could be a very mundane subject and created an imaginative and inspiring book full of beautiful projects. Each project is rich with ideas and the instructions are very specific. You'll create pieces you never thought you could before. I look forward to seeing what she will bring us next.

This is the 4th book I have gotten by Sandra. Each is different and fun to look at besides use. This one I found ideas that I could do and some I could use at school. Always a plus when i can use a book for school. I found the ideas wonderful and great jumping off places for my own ideas. I have made 3 different ones and find the directions easy to follow and fun to do.

This book is proof that one fun, great craft book by an author will be rapidly followed by another even if the author is somewhat played out. I enjoyed perusing through the flower instructions in this book but found that I was much more interested in all the little illustrations and ephemera in the margins of the pages. This is a thin book, and perhaps should have been a chapter in a richer, more fully fleshed book. Unlike Evertson's first book which I found packed with riches and great ideas and which inspired me to take her creations and adapt them to my own art-making, this book did not inspire me to try anything I saw in it. I think it was just too soon for another book, a great example of racing to exploit a wave of enthusiasm for a particular artist--or perhaps these are the leftovers from the first book that they couldn't squeeze in. I read most of the new paper art books that come out and I regret to say this one just doesn't cut it. Ms. Evertson, whose best work is adorable and irresistable needs more time in the studio to develop her visions and ideas between books.

Sandra has produced yet another masterfully illustrated and creative book. Her ideas seem to pour endlessly from her heart and soul onto the pages of her books. Sandra's creations are fun, well-explained and the finished pieces are adorable. I cannot wait to see what she will create next.

For my wedding I decided to make paper flowers, and this book was so helpful and was great with instructions. My flowers look beautiful and i definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to make beautiful flowers and arrangements!

Ten great techniques to create ornaments, bouquets, baubles, pins, etc. with waxed flowers, punches, embellishments, wire, chalk, inks, and paper. There are also several pages of sample clip art for you to copy and recreate the projects. This is a great reference book for someone looking for some collage inspiration and to breathe life into ordinary paper flowers.

A very well-written book, with many new and fresh ideas. I enjoyed it and recommend it to anyone who wants to add something to their collage and art. You can never have too many flowers!

I love this book. There are many wonderful, beautiful creations illustrated. They are all easy to make and include detailed instructions.

I love vintage paper and if you do - you will love this book. Great ideas and fun projects to do yourself or with friends.
