3.0 out of 5 stars Too expensive
I was interested in purchasing the 24 count case of Fancy Feast for my multiple cat household. However, even with free shipping it is $.68 per can. It is only $.54 per can at Walmart. I am surprised that Amazon is pricing so much higher than Walmart. I hope they try to change this soon.

My only suggestion is that if you have a cat that doesn't like pates, be careful on these grilled varieties. They're supposed to all be shredded but they do have a couple that are actually pates and well, up went the nose on those! I pay about six dollars less for this loaf pack at my local grocery, so keep that in mind with the pricetag. I think it's high. Other than that, highly recommend!

for canned food fancy feast is the only thing my cat eats. shed rather starve than eat anything organic. my cat devours this stuff within minutes. she particularly loves the beef. after checking the ingredient list though im wee bit alarmed. for the regular grilled line poultry or beef is listed as the first ingredient, followed by broth liver or fish, then meat by product. these gravy ones has broth as the first ingredient, followed by poultry or beef, and has a higher percentage of gluten. hence the gravy i guess. it sure taste good to my cat but it's like more like junk food than a healthy meal. the kitty won't get these on a regular basis anymore, regular grilled variety is better for her health. suscribe and save is such an awesome deal. it comes out to 46 cents a can. my local walmart used to have fancy feast for 47 cents+tax, no more! now its 54 cents!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars My cat seems to love this, March 17, 2011

My cat is now 21 y/o and I have stopped giving him the hard stuff, I think he enjoys a nice soft meal now. He loves this stuff. I do not care about the price, what does it matter when we have our pets for such a short time, I am lucky I have had mine a long time, maybe because I don't worry about price but buy good quality. My cat deserves the higher priced car foods.

4.0 out of 5 stars My Mocha likes it and smells good to me, December 22, 2010

I, like many cat owners, love my cat very much. I enjoy watching my cat eat as it is a sign of good health. I also enjoy more when she eats and finds her food delectable. She gives you that 'look' and you know when the food she ate has tasted good.

Anyway, this is the 3rd fancy feast i bought for her. i bought the pate version (or classic). Classic ones have a very pet-food stench to it. On the other hand, this smells a bit more like human food and isnt stinky. The food is shaped like canned tuna filets but a bit stiffer in texture. My only complaint: there is WAY more gravy on the can compared to the pate version. I'd say 1/8 of the can is gravy. as for the meaty filets, i'd say 1/2-less 3/4 can is actual food itself. quite disappointing. i feel ripped off b/c i do not get my money's worth in terms of quantity so one star off. quality is good; comparing it to pate, it seems Mocha enjoys this and pate equally. I only notice she seems to enjoy chicken flavor more b/c she eats it all in one setting.

I know Fancy feast (FF) isnt the 'ideal' wet food out there. I dont have the means to afford evo, wellness etc. I feed this in conjunction with dry kibble, and one FF can lasts about 2-3 days. I mix in homemade meat or greeny vegetables at times with FF. In short, i guess i am saying that i am glad Fancy feast sells this 'crack' food (as known in many cat lover circles...lol) that cats run for. Thanks to swagbucks, I am able to get this for FREE from Amazon and even take advantage of del. subscription to give my cat some pleasure in life.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not a bargain, August 4, 2009
This review is from: Fancy Feast Gourmet Cat Food, 3-Flavor Grilled Variety Pack (Beef, Turkey & Chicken), 3-Ounce Cans (Pack of 24) (Grocery)
My cats love, love, love these. The product is great but the price here doesn't make it cost-effective to order from Amazon (hence, the four stars). I just paid $12.29 (regular price) at my local supermarket and paid even less at Sam's Club. They seem to be building in the cost of shipping.

You get a better deal for these if you order a subscription on Amazon.

I have three seven month old kittens who devour Fancy Feast almost instantaneously, the moment I serve them a can.

I have not tasted this variety of Fancy Feast, so I can not comment on that. I have asked my cat, Bo, how it tastes, but he pays no attention to me at all once I set his plate of Fancy Feast down.

I can say without a doubt that having an Amazon subscription to this food is great. I placed the order once, and the every thirty days another case is delivered to my door step. This is the greatest idea since the invention of the can opener. No more late night trips to WalMart because I forgot to buy cat food. Oh, Amazon gives you a discount off the regular price if you sign up for the subscription! No regrets here.

Our Cat likes Fancy Feast, especially the grilled flavors. It is somewhat pricey in our local stores, so I bought it on-line.

Although this is still a supermarket brand, I can't afford to buy both premium wet food as well as dry food. So he's on a Fancy Feast and Wellness CORE diet.

At first, I was afraid he'd reject this food like he had with the other two brands he tried, but he's stuck with it. For the past three months, Fancy Feast has been his chosen food. Of course I buy loads of different flavors so he would have some variety.
