5.0 out of 5 stars My cats love this moist food with gravy September 25, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase
I can't argue with my kitties. They would eat only this type of food if I would let them. Kibbles are a must, but they share one can twice daily. They look forward to this early AM and late evening treat.
They are not partial to any flavor but texture and gravy count. They let me kow by how much they leave in their bowls. For the "Grilled" food there are no leftovers, but "Classic" is not as good.

I am just the messenger for "Grateful Pampered" kitties.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Cats' Favorite Food! August 21, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase
When this food came out, my cats went crazy the first time I brought it home. My older cats had liked the ground or classic cat food but these cats wouldn't have anything to do with it. I've been buying this food for over a year and novelty hasn't worn off yet and even the cat across the street comes over for some. They love it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best deal in a long time from Fancy Feast June 8, 2011

My two kitters love Fancy Feast cat food and because most of its varieties can be had on Prime, that is about all they get to eat. When they were lowly kittens who had just arrived from a rescue facility, Any Kind of food was Good Food. They were just thankful to eat. Kibble would have been OK with them forever had they known no better. But one kitty is a male and I know males tend to have problems with their urinary tracts especially if they do not get enough fluids, so I made the fateful decision to include "wet food" in their diets for the sake of the male. Fancy Feast was one of the few vendors who makes kitten food and so that is what they got and how this tale got started. One variety of food led to another variety of food and the next thing a doting mother could do was get downright fancy meals for her kids. All were available on Subscribe and Save and so came in at a reasonable cost. So, as things went along, mom fell for the more and more expensive types of Fancy Feast and the kitties went right along with her. But then, lo, something was amiss. Sometimes there was not satisfied smacking going on. Instead there was silence. No kitty mom likes silence. Silence indicates "the stare." And the kitty stare is quite similar to the "human stare." No matter what the subject, the stare Always boils down to something very simple but very deadly: "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING WHEN....?"...When you bought the Ferrai?; When you got married THAT guy?; When you bought shares in "American BuggyWhip?; when you ....when you went overseas without me? The stare always indicates something of untold gravity as is indicated by the previous questions. So I get The Stare for: What were you thinking when you bought this cat food FOR ME? Great Gravity involved don't you see.... Read more ›

After a lot of research I decided to switch my cats to an all wet food diet. A website specifically recommended this brand of Fancy Feast as a more economical store brand variety of food because it has fewer fillers and more meat. There are certainly better varieties but the ones I saw on Amazon cost twice as much. When I started my two cats on the all wet food diet, I alternated days of this variety with cheap generic chicken flavored wet food (I believe it was mostly fillers and organ meat). They acted like they were starving on the days when I gave them the lower quality food, I would have to feed them an extra can. They would finish eating and beg for food an hour later. Now that I only use this variety, they are more active and less hungry and generally seem much more content. Soft shiny coats, bright eyes, lots of playing. As an added bonus, one of my cats is very large and heavy and the other is very small and skinny. The heavy cat has lost 4lbs (down to a trim 17lbs for his size) and the skinny little cat has basically maintained her weight. So, good reviews all around!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Convenient April 16, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase
These are the flavors that our cat prefers. Our cat, probably like yours, too, has very evident preferences in her food. Ours likes Fancy Feast, but only the grilled-style in the seafood-type flavors. Other brands and other flavors, even Fancy Feast, get ignored by our cat.

The shipment of cat food (we bought about $75 worth) arrived quickly and well packaged, part of it in plastic-wrapped cardboard flats of 24 cans, and part of the shipment in 24 can boxes. The cat food's freshness dates were well out into next year, and the cans were clean and in perfect, undamaged condition.

The Amazon price is approximately the same as the price at our local big-box stores, but with Amazon's free shipping (and maybe no sales tax, depending on your state's tax laws), you can't beat the convenience of having cat food delivered directly to your door.

5.0 out of 5 stars No substitute August 19, 2011
My cat's not a fussy eater, but she does have a strong preference for Fancy Feast, especially the pate-style varieties. She eats most anything I giver her without complaint, but shows her love of Fancy Feast by showering me with affection for 10 minutes or so every time I serve it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Two out of two cats love this stuff April 28, 2012

I've never tasted this stuff, but both my discriminating cats do the happy dance on the mornings I serve it for breakfast. They lick their plates clean and rub my ankles before resting after their repast.
