4.0 out of 5 stars Best of the florentines
This one seems to be flavored more to a cat's liking than the rest of the Florentine varieties. They're expensive, so buy one of each to see what floats with your cat but here, one will eat this and the other one won't. It is gobbled up quite quickly too, I might add, by one of them so there you go! Anyway, the greens addition is great for cats, they seem to like it in...

Product is good; my cats like it. But the price just keeps climbing. I will have to train my cats to eat cheaper cat food.

4.0 out of 5 stars Best of the florentines, August 3, 2009

This one seems to be flavored more to a cat's liking than the rest of the Florentine varieties. They're expensive, so buy one of each to see what floats with your cat but here, one will eat this and the other one won't. It is gobbled up quite quickly too, I might add, by one of them so there you go! Anyway, the greens addition is great for cats, they seem to like it in their other varieties, and they're high on the nutrition scale. So, if you're looking for higher protein and better nutrition all around, be sure to give these a go. In our house, the pates have fared the best over the shreds and particularly, these florentines. The egg soufles seem to be the favorites here - they "hoover" them down so fast they barely come up for air! Recommend!

2.0 out of 5 stars Concerned about Mercury content, November 20, 2010
This review is from: Fancy Feast Gourmet Cat Food, Yellowfin Tuna Florentine in Sauce with Garden Greens, 3-Ounce Cans (Pack of 24) (Grocery)
Tuna, as is well documented, absorb and store Mercury in fat. Anything that eats that fat consumes Mercury. I wouldn't feed tuna to a child, and I'd recommend any adult to read the literature regarding mercury content in seafood. How can it be safely fed to a cat? Regarding this brand of cat food, it's excellent as long as you feed chicken or turkey.

I should bite the bullet and only order this more expensive Fancy Feast for my 3 cats. They all love it; it's the sauce. There isn't any waste. Setting up autoship assures me that I am getting the best possible price around.

This is one of the few cat foods my fussy cat will eat. He loves the gravy especially. Wish they would sell that on it's own! And amazon's subscribe and save is the best price I can find, and so convenient too!

The garden greens added to this product was the reason I bought it because my cat was trying to eat any twigs she found in my yard in addition to the twigs in trees she climbs. My cat was a stray cat who obviously had not been getting a balanced diet. I believe the Fancy Feast florentine style is changing her eating habits because she chews fewer twigs and has begun nibbling on any available green plants.

As much as one can tell with cats, mine seem to prefer this as their favorite.
