4.0 out of 5 stars Good action adventure story for young teens, July 27, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Fanglith (Paperback)
This is a clean, wholesome science fiction story about two teenagers (sister and brother) who come to the rescue of their parents with the help of their mind reading dog (alien friend). They come from an advanced civilization to our earth in the past during the age of knights. Great fun!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good juvenile military SF, December 3, 2010
This review is from: Fanglith (Paperback)
Not up to the Dalmas of the Regiment era but still a good military juvenile SF in the style of Heinlein and Asimov. The plot is a coming of age story where two youths have to fly a considerable distance across the galaxy while being pursued by the evil Federation. All this to find and then rescue their parents. Plot twists ensue and end up with a Knights vs Federation climax. A quick read and worth the time if you are a Dalmas fan.

3.0 out of 5 stars A conneticut spaceman in King Arthurs court., November 29, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: Fanglith (Paperback)
If you like spaceman visits primitive planet stories, then this novel is for you.

Average story of aliens hiding on Earth from their pursuers. Turns into a knight era adventure story.
