Great waist pack,

This is the perfect pack for holding the essentials during daily walks at the track. Phone, wallet, headphones & player, and keys, all in their places, with room to spare, but lightweight, too. Compares favorably with the much more expensive brands.

I recently ordered this fanny pack for use on a trip to Walt Disney World with my family. Now that I've returned from my trip, below are my impressions on this item.
Pros: - Very roomy; it has a velcroed cell phone pocket (flip-phone sized) and 4 other zippered pockets. The two largest pockets will hold a lot of stuff. - Fits a husky guy. The description says that it fits waists up to 42 inches, but based on my experience, it will comfortably fit a guy with a waist several inches larger. - Although it's roomy, it's not bulky in and of itself when you wear it (although if you stick bulky things in it, of course, it will be bulky). - It looks good (for a fanny pack) - The material it's made from (denier polyester) is tough and rain resistant. - It's very inexpensive for what you get! Con: - I found the zippers to be a bit stiff to open, although the zippers did have large "tabs", which helped somewhat. Overall, I highly recommend this fanny pack. It will fit a wide variety of shapes, holds a lot of things, looks good, and is inexpensive. And based on the how it held up on my vacation, I would expect it to last for years.

I bought this "fanny pack" and was pleasantly surprised with the quality (particulary the zippers). It is a very durable bag. Would definitely hold a small lunch along with keys, cell phone and wallet.

This is an excellent hip pack! I am using mine as the "master" pack when we take our vacation to Florida and hit all the theme parks. This pack is quite large and can fit everything!!!!! All the separate pockets makes it nice and manageable!! I couldn't be more pleased with it! To give you an idea how much it holds...one camera, hand sanitizer, cell phone, chapstick, poncho, 4 granola bars, extra batteries, wet wipes, sunscreen, gum, trial size deodorant, two rolls of quarters, etc...I still have more room for other things. It is large so be mindful of it, but not so big that it's too bulky. You can put a lot into this space on your hip!

The pack is about 50% larger (deeper) than what I was using before and has 4 zipper pockets (one's small & narrow for some thin things) vs a single pocket in my old one. It's a little harder to get things out of the main 2 compartments when I'm sitting/driving than my last one, but with more compartments, I don't have to fumble around so much to find something or take stuff out to reach the bottom. It helps to wear it a little loose to make the compartments more accessible. Zippers work OK. It's very inexpensive for its usefulness. Seller shipped the day after my order.

Perfect Size - Well Made,
This review is from: Fanny Pack with Cell Phone Pocket by Everest (Apparel)
Have used this pack for 3 months now. It's just the right size to keep all the items you travel with; cell phone, wallet, passport, ticket info, keys, small camera, pen, pocket knife, etc. Easy to access pockets while wearing it. Belt is wide enough to be comfortable. Zippers work well - entire construction is of good quality. Have three other fanny packs - this is the best of the lot and I use it daily. Excellent value for the money!

This is one tough pack. I've had mine for two years and the zips still zip and all the seams have held. I'm getting another one because the first is looking a bit worn, but it is not worn out, I just want the "like new" appearance.

I chose this fanny/belt pack to replace a leather one from Wilson's, the zippers of which broke in just 18 months from the strain of what I stuffed that pack with. Time will tell if this pack suffers from the same problem.
So far, the capacity is what I need, and the extra cell phone pocket is just dandy. I like that the nylon doesn't scuff the way the leather on my former pack did. But this thing is noisy. The heavy-duty zipper pull tabs clank with every stride. The manufacturer should have spend a few cents more per item and had rubber pull tabs put in. Also, the waist adjustment band has no neat way to terminate the free end. I ended up putting a rubber band on the inner strap, sort of like a belt loop for the outer strap. I'll come back in 18 months and update my rating for the product's longevity and value.

Youthful, sporty appearance...Not like what you would expect to see a "tourist" wearing...Comfortable, good quality, fair amount of storage pockets and room.

This pack has more space than it seemed from the description. The small outer pocket fits my Canon A590 perfectly. The smaller of the two "large" pockets will accept a 5X8 "legal" pad and other items, leaving the larger pocket to be filled with stuff - paperback book, miscellaneous junk we men carry in bulging pants pockets or whatever the occasion requires. Shy of a Blackberry or similar "big" cell phone, the phone pocket is more than adequate (it might fit a Blackberry, I just don't use one or know for sure). The belt itself is easily adjustable and should fit any normal person; it fits my currently over-sized 38" waist with many inches to spare.
Overall, it's very well made and a tremendous value. This item allows me to carry much of what used to be in a cumbersome backpack without the concomitant inconvenience of the backpack. |
