The list author says: "[NOTE: this is my list from high school, so these recommendations do not necessarily reflect my current views. However, I'll leave this up here just because.]
These are my all-time favorite books. As I read more amazing books, this list will probably grow. I read books with a fairly wide range of genres and both YA books and regular fiction, so some of these may seem random compared to the others. These books are in no particular order -- I love them all."
"It's Twilight. It's addicting, but not exactly good literature. I have (thankfully) become disillusioned with the Twilight novels and do not wish to read them again. However, I will keep this on the list for nostalgic purposes..."
"Meg Cabot's "boy books" are fun, quick reads. They're written in journal entries, emails, and even receipts! The other two books are "The Boy Next Door" and "Every Boy's Got One". (They're not a series, but they're related.)"
"Book 1 of the Bartimaeus Trilogy (the rest of the trilogy is great too). Very interesting and at times fun. Jumps between the points of view of a few different people, which makes it even more interesting to read."
"It took me a while to get into them, but the Artemis Fowl books are great. The first one isn't actually my favorite, but I thought it would be strange to put up one of the middle ones. They're all great, though."
