For 5 to 8 year olds. From a tic-tac-toe board to a dinosaur, there is no limit to the whimsical creations you can make with the vivid foam pieces.

We have this book and the pipe cleaner book. Both are great. My 5 year old son loves to make all sorts of silly things. With a glue stick and the book of examples, it keeps him occupied and actually sitting still for an hour at a time.

I recommend it as a great alternative to just coloring.
