ANOTHER GREAT MR. FANTASTIC FIGURE...,

This review is from: Fantastic Four the Movie Mr Fantastic Action Figure (Toy)
Shape Shifting Mr. Fantastic is another great idea based on the character in the Fantastic Four movie. Like I said before, you could make a lot of great action figures because of what superpowers this character has. Here is another great example. This figure has excellent sculpting and articulation. The joints were nice and tight and well concealed. The paint job is good, too. The neat action feature of this figure is that his gloves can be twisted off and two larger attachments can be snapped on. They are both fitted in a specific way so that you won't be confused about which attachment goes to which hand. The right hand is a cutting saw that can spin around and the left hand is an enlarged fist that can be bent in the middle and released to hammer down on the bad guys. Mr. Fantastic never used a "saw hand" in the movie (nor did he ever in the comic book that I can remember), but it looks great and kids will have fun with it. The fist is a trick I've seen before and is just as much fun. Plus, it gives the toy a little diversity. The figure's head can be pulled off and replaced with a 2-dimensional, flat head. This is to represent Mr. Fantastic's malleability. It fits nice and tight on the peg over his neck, but the normal head is sort of loose-like the hole at the bottom was made just a little too big or something. Anyway, it doesn't fall off on its own without a slight tug, so that helps a bit. Comparing this figure to the Series 1 Mr. Fantastic figure, I noticed that this figure is taller and better proportioned. This figure appears to be just the right size when standing him up with the rest of the team. That's not to say Series 1 Mr. F isn't worth getting-because he is. It can do things this figure cannot. We happen to have both of them. One thing this figure doesn't have is the little "4" symbol on the side button of his boots and gloves like the Series 1 Mr. Fantastic figure has. That would have been a nice detail to keep on the figure. All in all, this is a great action figure for Fantastic Four/Marvel fans. They are well stocked and are priced right so that getting more--if the need arises-will be easy.

This is very good figure as he has great sculpting and a incredible likeness as its pretty movie accurate. I recommend Marvel Movie/Marvel Legends/Spider-Man figures for age 10 and up due to the fragileness nature of the figures. Bottom line this is a must have figure if you are a big Fantastic Four fan! I strongly recommend this figure!
