Fantastic Frames is a good book if you want to create unusual frames. The "other frame ideas" section really stimulated my imagination on possible picture frames to create. However, the book gives instructions on creating the simple frames then shows frames that are more complex and gives a little paragrah on how they were created. Some frames you really have to have a creative imagination to figure out how the picture frame was created.
Some of the more complex frames seemed a little impractical; like glueing stones to the picture frame. I thought the amount of stones needed would make the frame weigh alot and the picture frame will need *LOTS* of support to stand up. Overall, this book is good for beginners who can be creative with very little instructions. |
