Measles Mumps Rubella are the story of gothic danse punks who left their DC home for the dark and dirty underbelly of Manhattan to invade it's underground parties and dance-halls. MMR amassed a cult following over the years sporatically releasing songs w/ labels like Kill Rock Stars and Troubleman, recording w/ punk rock icon Ian MacKaye at Inner Ear Studios, and touring the US w/ Bratmobile, Le Tigre, Rah Bras, and Lungfish. "Fantastic Success," recorded and mixed by Jonathan Kreinik (Apes, Hot Snakes, Trans Am) at Trans Am’s National Recording Studios, is the first release featuring new vocalist Chuck Bettis (formerly of Dischord Records band All Scars) and is one of the darkest and more innovative punk records in quite some time.
