This book takes you through a list of worlds from science fiction to fantasy. Alphabetically, with movies, it runs from Abbott and Costello Go to Mars to ZPG "Zero Population Growth". On TV shows, from Between Time and Timbuktu to the Abbott & Costello Go to Mars. Each movie or series get's a short write up, many with a black and white photo of a set, landscape, model or character. (the color ones being somewhat grainy a bit).
Most of the pictures are black and white, with two sections that are in color. Lots of set models, backgrounds, and matte paintings (about the extent of special effect up unto 1978 when this was first printed). If you really like classic Scifi, it's a fine list of productions in one book.
