4.0 out of 5 stars Final Fantasy VII Advent Children 7" Figure
The first thing you notice is the packaging. It comes in a massive window box. Collectors will be in love with its beautiful graphics across the front. The back shows a large picture of Cloud as well as small pictures of the other Play Arts FF 7: AC series figures.
Everything inside is held securly.....almost to securly. I had a little bit of a problem getting...

3.0 out of 5 stars Cloud Strife Action Figure
The action figure is a hit with my daughter, unfortunately, this is her 3rd one. They keep breaking. Hopefully, they will consider making them a bit more sturdy.

Everything inside is held securly.....almost to securly. I had a little bit of a problem getting Cloud out! LOL!!

After removing the figure from it's casing, you will notice the level of detail that went into this thing! First the small details: Small sculpted zippers on his boots and clothing. A ribbed sweater that has the collar and his tiny wolf earring in his left ear. The painting is very detailed. No smudges, bleeds, or gaps. His face also has a look of sheer determination.
Now the big things: His hair is perfect; his clothing is spot on; and the Buster Sword is nicely detailed.....It's just too bad that it can't be taken apart...
Overall - he looks like he is ready to kick some booo-tay!

- Measures 7.5" Tall
- Cloud Figure features 18 points of articulation
- Buster Sword included
- Comes packaged with display stand (or -optional- Fenrir Motorcycle)
- Features 2 variant right hands: Open or Closed to hold sword

The only downside to this figure is the right arm. The buster sword seems to be too heavy for he arm to support it. It bends in an unnatural way; thus, taking away from a very cool pose.

This is a great figure, and one I was happy to add to my collection!

The detailing, from his facial expression, to the shades of his hair, to the FFAC costume is extremely good.
And then the sword, of course.

Like others, I too am a little disappointed in the fact that the (very cool) sword is too heavy-or his arm is too weak-for him to hold it correctly. I often display it propped in both hands to compensate.

But that is a mild, "I wish," and doesn't make me regret owning the figure in the least.
It's a must have for FF fans!

The detail for this figure is very good with a nicely detailed face and suit. The only problems I encountered involved the arms: the right arm is a little weak so that you need to be extra careful when attaching the hands or you might snap the joint. The same right arm was also made too loose, so that posing with the sword can only be done using both hands. Limited movement with the left arm also means that the sword is either posed directly in front of Cloud, or is hanging limply at the side. Overall, however, I am pleased with the purchase and quality of the figure.

4.0 out of 5 stars Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Cloud Strife Figure, September 27, 2007

This Advent Children Cloud figure is the very well painted and detailed to look the way he does in the actual movie. Posing him especially with his sword is great because he's not so hard to think of good poses with. However, sometimes the PVC plastic causes breakage on the thigh area of the figure when spreading his legs out but if u boil the figure in hot water, or use a hairdryer to loosen the plastic up a bit then the movements of the legs should be just perfect. Also try and pose his arm holding the sword with good care because sometimes the arm does get kinda weak and droop down due to the sword. If u have a way to tighten up a loose joint, I reccommend doing that to Cloud's right arm. Overall this figure is not a figure you wanna miss out on. He fits perfectly with the rest of the Advent Children figures and overall is a splendid figure to have, pose, and even play with.

I bought this for my nephew. He was very happy with it except he said the arms were a bit strange when you put the sword arm on. This would not hold up for small children.

Pro: Highly detailed in every body parts of the action figure. The sword was Epic. Very well made with a lot of details.

Cons: Unfortunately when I opened the box and took Cloud out his leg fell off right away. All my excitement just went downhill after I saw his leg fell off like it was already broken before someone put him into the box. Perhaps my action figure was just a defect out of the hundreds out there, but with his right leg broken I can only super glue his leg back and can't pose him in any cool pose or any sort of pose. Also one of his arms couldn't fit into the socket very well which affected Cloud's ability to hold the sword properly.

Overall: Amazing action figure but poorly designed. If his leg wouldn't have came off right at the moment I took the action figure out then I would of given this review a 5 stars. However His right leg broke off the moment I took him out of the box therefore I give this action figure a 2/5 stars.

Cloud is one of my favorite characters of all time. I think play arts rushed this figure or something, because i dont like his arms. its too loose. I also dont like Cloud's hair. the material of it is bad. I prefer the material they use in the other final fantasy 7 Cloud. The sword is made out of a better material than the sword of the other Cloud. Overall if you are a fan and you are collecting these figures then yeah go ahead and get him, he still is kinda nice. Just hurry up and get yo figure before the prices goes up. Just like red xii and Tifa.
