If you like Risk or Settlers of Catan, you will probably love this game. This game is definitely a mix between the two... with maybe a portion of Starfarers. If you know the way Warcraft 3 plays, you'll have an easier time with this game. The first time we played took a bit longer because it's very involved... but still goes faster than Risk. I gave the durability a 3 because there are a lot of little pieces.

This isn't going to be a long review. The game is just good. I would call it a mixture of Risk and the original Warcraft 3 video game. It works out very well in the end. They find ways of having nearly all units from the game represented during play. If you pick up the expansion as well, this game becomes even more like the Warcraft RTS. The expansion introduces heroes and other concepts that were paramount for the original and expansion RTS games.

The game does take longer than the typical 30-45 minutes that the RTS video game takes per match, but I feel that is mainly at the beginning due to the learning curve (and the fact that this is turn based instead of real time).

Do yourself a favor, if you like warcraft, go out and get this game and the expansion and you will enjoy it.

This game is the coolest! Well, it kinda is hard to understand the first few times you play but it is da bomb! I say it requires a lot of thinking so I think it is at least 4 stars educational. It's kinda like chess. (War game and stuff) So, If you are a fan with the the Com. Game, then you will LUV this.
