I purchased this sofa for my 2 year old son to sit on while he watches movies.

I guess I'd first like to address some of the negative comments I'm seeing in regards to adults/teenagers/pets not being happy with this sofa. It says specifically in the item description:

"It is a real piece of furniture, upholstered with soft Twill fabric to give your Kids a comfortable place to read and play."

The key word in that statement is kids. I guess Amazon could put the word "kids" or "toddler" in the main description, but if you're planning to buy this couch, I would assume you read the description of what it is.

That being said, my child loves this sofa. He props his Buzz Lightyear on one side and he sits on the other for some marathon Toy Story watching.

Pros:
-- Size. It's a perfect fit for my son and a toy/stuffed animal/blanket/pillow/etc. Don't confuse this with a full size couch. It isn't something that he and some friends could share, but if you had 2 younger(smaller) children I don't think there would be a problem with them fitting comfortably.
-- Quality. Although this couch won't be confused with top of the line, amish made furniture, it is decently made. The color was a tad off from the picture but it works just fine. The fabric is soft and isn't too terribly difficult to clean up small spills. The little pillows are a decorative touch, but my son chooses to use his own.
-- Price. I picked this up for under a hundred bucks. We couldn't find anything close to that price in our local stores.

Cons:
- None yet. I could see the fabric being an issue to some, but to knock this because your 20 year old doesn't fit on it is plain silly.

If you're looking for a cheap sofa for your kids to use exclusively, this is it. It's inexpensive enough there you won't mind it taking the abuses of a little one, but it will keep the adult furniture safe.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE HIDDEN "RETURN" POLICY OF THIS SELLER! Any returns are subject to a 15% RESTOCKING FEE that IS charged to you upon its return, not to mention the cost of reshipping the item back to FANTASY FURNITURE, which will cost you at least $50.00. And what a HUGE disappointment this couch turned out to be! The pictures and descriptions listed with the products are VERY MISLEADING and DECEIVING. I had originally bought the item for one my medium size dogs, but unless you have a poodle or a cat that you plan to put on it, DON'T BOTHER GETTING ANY OF THESE COUCHES! Anything heavier than 15 lb's will probably overload this couch and break it. Construction properties were quite shabby and cheap. If you plan to purchase this for a child, make sure that your child doesn't weigh more than 15-20 lbs, or older than a 2yr. old or they will have outgrown this couch before they even sit on it. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY...LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR SMALL FURNITURE FROM ANOTHER VENDOR.

Santa brought this to our 15-month old for Christmas. It was her favorite gift under the tree. She loves that she can sit on it and cuddle up on it by herself. She takes her dolls, a book, and her blanket and plops down. She loves to lounge on it, too, so we're glad we bought the couch instead of the chair.

As for size - it is perfect for her and she still has room to grow. She is only 15 months but she is tall (95+ percentile). She can share it with a friend her age, too. It would probably be too small for a three or four year old to enjoy for long, but at that point she will be able to climb onto the regular couch so we aren't that worried. The size is exactly what we wanted for her age.

She is able to turn it over if she puts too much weight on the back (trying to climb over the back, for example). We tend to keep it up against our wall, and make sure that she doesn't climb on it.

The construction seems nice for what we paid. The fabric feels a little cheap - slightly rough - but we've already had one spill on it and it cleaned easily. The mini pillows are a cute bonus, even though they are also somewhat cheap. It is lightweight but sturdy.

We have the navy, and the color is slightly different than shown. The color is a true dark navy, and the trim and pillows are a khaki color (not yellow like they appeared on our computer). It fits in well with our "grown-up" furniture and doesn't look out of place in our living room.

All in all - we are very happy with this purchase after looking at several options online and in stores. It is exactly what we wanted and we would buy it again, especially on sale.

The couch is cute and our son loves it. But I got it to match our other furniture. We ordered the olive green or so we thought..When it came, it was forest green. It looks nothing like the picture colorwise. The fabric is polyester and cheap. But its for a kid..so its fine. Quality-wise, I am not sure its worth $139. Fortunately it was on sale when i bought it. It is a great size for our 14 month old though.

Our daughter is 18 months old, and 75th-85th percentile for weight/height. She's 25 pounds, and not having any weight issues (regarding the customer who said it was too small for a 15 pound dog?). The couch still has room for her to grow into. Yes, it's small. But she's small. It doesn't take over the room, but it's still perfect for her. It looks pretty well made. Yes, it could've been made out of better materials, but there's nothing wrong with what is was made out of. It really is perfect for a little one to play and watch tv on.

The first one I ordered had a large upholstery nail protruding from the back. I didn't notice it until I slid it over a few inches and it left a long scratch along the wood base my kitchen island. Thankfully, I found it before it could cause any injury to my child. I had no problem returning the defective one though.

It's small, but that's the point, I thought. I shopped for a while before purchasing this one, and most of the toddler sofas are about this size.

The colors are also different than they appear on my screen. The green is more of a forest green than olive, and the beige is dark and could be called light brown or mocha.

Lastly, the fabric is a polyester twill with a very slight sheen that is much like the fabric used for fast food worker's uniforms.

really cute, really durable, just wish it was a little bigger...seats two 2- or 3- year olds nicely, but not really meant for kids much older than that.

I bought this couch for my 3 and 1 year old daughters. My 1 year old can stretch across it and she fits fine, but is definately too small for my 3 year old. She lies on it, but her feet and part of her legs hang off the end.
I am glad I got the navy because they have already put their dirty hands on it and it wipes right off. I have the matching chair too and it also small. Very cute, but just not for an older toddler.

Beautiful and strong homey sofa. Great for my 4 year old daughter. Let me say that at first I was scare to order this sofa because of the negative comments that other people left but I was amaze when I receive the sofa, it is strong (I even sit down on it to read a book to my child) and really comfortable. I recommend.

This sofa is great, more like a little loveseat. We got it for our 1 year old and she loves it! She is 29" all and 19.5 pounds and it is plenty roomy for her to lounge on. It is well made and very sturdy, she has climbed all over it without any wobbles.

It arrived fully assembled and did not have a hint of any factory odors, both of which I really appreciated. It comes with two rather flimsy throw pillows than ended up getting tossed on the floor, so no loss about the quality of those. I replaced them with two others that we like better, I will post a photo.

Be aware that the green sofa is not olive and light sage like the photo, it is actually dark spruce green and grayish khaki. I would have preferred it to be the olive, but I think that is why the green version was on sale for under a Grant. For that price we are thrilled with it!
