Another favorite of mine, with my favorite Hero Games editor, Rob Bell.
The Fantasy Hero companion is a companion for third edition of Fantasy Hero, a roleplaying game. It provides supplemental magic, magic items, monsters, locations and mass combat rules for Fantasy Hero. The art is good for black and white art, though new schoolers may object. The imaginative art of the locations sections is inspiring and accurate, providing some scenarior kernel ideas in the pictures themselves. The picture of the Decieve the Senses spell shows a precise comprehension of the artist of this magic as does the Ice Bonds spell picture. Though some art leaves a little to be desired, the combination of art, concise writing and design are combined into a excellent package. I draw inspiration from the Locations section writing and art everytime I look at it. Thank you again Mr. Bell, et. al.
