This review is from: Fantasy: The Incredible Cabbage Patch Phenomenon (Hardcover)
I got this book being a Cabbage patch kid fan.I really enjoyed it. I was too young to remember the riots and craziness. I just remembered we couldn't find a doll where we lived and I had to wait until the madness died down. This book goes into how Xavier Roberts was a poor country boy from Georgia to become a successful with his wonderful dolls. It was very informative and inspiring. Showing how if you work hard your dreams can come true. There are also alot of interesting facts about doll history. A very good read.

This was an interesting book, but I couldn't understand the complaints adopted people and birthmothers made about the "adoption papers" that come with the doll. The dolls, after all, were "born in the CABBAGE PATCH!" with Xavier Roberts and a partner of his listed as parents.
