5.0 out of 5 stars Best little book you never heard of, July 12, 2011
This review is from: Fantasy (Mass Market Paperback)
This book is nearly impossible to find but worth the effort. The short stories are charming and brilliant but the essays are priceless. From how he learned to introduce realism into fantasy (e.g., not having the hero gallop a horse all day and night) to opinions on borrowing characters from other sources and humorous essays, this book is a tiny gem for the speculative fiction reader and writer.
