Don't get me wrong, Mariah has had TONS of awesome singles, but this one was without a doubt her best one. The beat was irresistible, her vocals were fantastic, and the sampling was perfect. "Fantasy" was one of the best pop singles of the 90's. However, I'm not a big fan of the ODB remix. I enjoy the original too much. "Fantasy" also marked Mariah's decent into the hip-hop genre and although it had great results on this, future singles would suffer.

I like this single a lot and I think it's still one of her best RnB songs she's ever sung. But I would like to ask where is the dub mix called "FANTASY (Sweet Dub Mix) it's very nice and I've heard the full version before. You can hear a sample of it in short version on her album "DAYDREAM". It's track 11 "Daydream" Interlude (Sweet Dub Mix). It's just over 3 minutes. But has a Spanish touch to it. Over all the single which is this is simply club smashing. Especially the DEF CLUB MIX if you in the mood to get your butt shaking in the night. Give this one a listen and you'll see!

Everyone loves this song! One of Mariah's signature songs, it's so perfect!!! If you ask me, the remix featuring ODB is as good and everyone has to see the video where he's tying up the poor clown :-) You just have to get this single, it's something else.

This is an absolutely amazing song! I already had the album version but I got this for the remixes and I was completely not disappointed! The 'def club mix' is long but really great and the three versions of the 'bad boy' mixes are really cool too. I'd have to say my favourite tracks are 2 and 5.

This by far the best Mariah Carey single and the first single of her's I ever purchased! This song made me a fan and compelled me to buy her music. She can sing so good and the remixes of Fantasy are awesome! This is pretty much her most popular hit ever! Fantasy is such an up tempo, up beat track that you just can't sit still to. This hot single is guaranteed to add some joy to your day! A must have for any music lover or true fan of Mariah. I think everyone should have this in their music collection even if you aren't that fond of Mariah Carey. Get this today!

Genius of Love. What a sample. Simply the best of the mid-nineties. The nineties completely. And possibly the greatest use of a sample EVER. Jokes aside...

I gave the C.D 4 stars because I don't much like ODB. But the album version ROCKS! It's phat! My hip-hop class is doing it for our recital, and I have it almost all memorized.

Mariah's "Fantasy" is da bomb!!! the remixes which follow it are tight...with odb. i like the one best with the refrain because it sounds more like the original song that way. now that we have morpheus, limewire etc. i would reccomend downloading this song. if only they had that [song downloading] when i bought this cd back-in-the-day.
