Zidane is one solid sculpt. Thick joints, arms, and legs help give this figure a solid durable feel.
The only downside to the FF IX play arts line is the use of the peg to hold their accessories.

This is not the first Play Arts Final Fantasy toy I've bought. I have also managed to get a hold of Yuffie, Cloud with Daytona motorcycle, Aerith and Fang. I could review any of these toys the same way.
The molds are beautiful and very detailed. It's obvious the sculptors really took their time to get these toys to look as amazing as possible. The articulation allows for virtually any pose you could want to do. Bottom line, Play Arts puts out high quality product. I would suggest getting not just Zidane, but any other Final Fantasy character you're a fan of. I would buy future Final Fantasy figures sight unseen simply because Play Arts has really earned my trust with the toys I have already gotten from them. I'm confident anyone who likes Final Fantasy won't be disappointed by any one of their toys. |
