What a messege; what a sound,

I was not expecting much more than your typical "pop" artist trying to make it big when I first listened to this CD. But what i found were meditative layers of song about modern life and struggle, sung with sweet sadness. It seems that every song on this album was carefully chosen and no fillers were allowed on. I heard one of the songs on the album on Bones. It was very nice. I should have previewed the other songs on her album before buying it. The rest of the songs on the album were not my kind of music.
