A TRUE SAGA!,

This review is from: The Far Side of the Hill (Hardcover)
I ORDERED THIS BOOK THINKING IT WAS ONE OF NANCY LIVINGSTON'S G. D. H. PRINGLE STORIES....I LOVE THOSE!!!CAN'T GET ENOUGH, BUT AS I ALREADY KNOW & LIKE HER STYLE OF WRITING, IT WAS EASY FOR ME TO GET INTO THIS SAGA OF TWO BROTHERS FROM THE HIGHLANDS WHO GO TO ENGLAND & MAKE GOOD, ONLY AFTER MUCH STRUGGLE, HARDSHIP, TRAGEDY, ETC. ETC., THE STORY OF THEIR PERSONAL LIVES HAS A BIT OF A TWIST THAT WILL SURPRISE READERS, KEEPS YOU INTERESTED....NOT THAT IT'S HARD TO STAY INTERESTED IN N. L.'S BOOKS, SHE IS A GREAT STORY TELLER. TRY IT, YOU'LL LIKE IT!!

A great storyteller, and a compelling read. I cried at the end. I'm still thinking of the characters.
