Yeah. It's that good,
By John (Pennsylvannia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Far Side of Victory (Hardcover)
When I started reading this book I was a little apprehensive because I know the author and was afraid I wouldn't like it.
That lasted for about a chapter. By the middle of the book I was absolutely ensconced. It has one of the most intriguing and original plots I have ever read, has very deeply developed characters, and uses settings, both geographical and professional (the main characters job), that are certainly not overdone. If you're looking for something unique this is it. Some groups that I think would particularly like this book include 1. civil engineers 2. women 3. people interested in victom/offender relationships |
