5.0 out of 5 stars Best Muffin Pan I've Ever Used
This is literally the best muffin pan I've ever used, and I have used several types, including other nonstick pans, plain aluminum pans, and silicone.

1) It is very heavy duty, literally 3 times the weight of the muffin pans I used previously. It's not going to warp and lose its shape!

2) Very easy to clean. If cleaned shortly after the muffins...

1.0 out of 5 stars burns muffins!
Awful! This pan burned the bottoms and sides of my muffins. I had a 30-year-old muffin pan cooking in the oven right next to this pan and those ones turned out perfectly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Muffin Pan I've Ever Used, May 9, 2008
This review is from: Farberware 52106 Nonstick Bakeware 12-Cup Muffin Pan (Kitchen)

If cleaned shortly after the muffins come out, just wipe clean with a wet sponge. No soaking or scrubbing necessary!

3) The muffins are standard sized. A recipe that is supposed to make 12 muffins will make 12 muffins. This may not sound like a big deal, but my previous pans always made 14 or so! And there is variation in the dimensions of muffin holes in "standard" pans.

I'm planning on going back and ordering another 1 or 2 of these, and then pitching my old ones. If you're in the market for standard-size muffin tins, buy these!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this pan!, December 21, 2007
This review is from: Farberware 52106 Nonstick Bakeware 12-Cup Muffin Pan (Kitchen)
I love this cupcake pan! It's a nice, heavy duty pan that seems to keep my cupcakes perfect. Probably my favorite thing about it is that it has the extra space at either end that helps you grab it from the oven without smooshing your thumbs into the cupcakes. Very handy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Can't complain about this one, February 23, 2006
This review is from: Farberware 52106 Nonstick Bakeware 12-Cup Muffin Pan (Kitchen)
My wife has used a cheaper one for 20+ years and raves about this new one. It holds the temperature at an even rate, making the muffins a golden brown. I would not hesitate to buy this one again. It's worth the price.

Overall a great product. Very heavy duty and obviously quality made. My only complaint that I took one star off for was because the cups are a seperate piece of metal that appears to be welded on or somehow attached to the top. This leaves a very small gap on the inside of the pan where the cups meet the top surface, you can sort of see this in the blow up picture, I can see residue building up in this area over time if not cleaned well after use. The positive is that the material of this pan is extremely easy to clean making dealing with this problem pretty easy, you just have to do it, no leaving it on the counter for a week for stuff to fully harden into the small gap.

10-13-2009 After the wife complained about the difficulty of cleaning an old muffin tin, I suggested a new one. She said, "I don't need it, I already have another one."
10-16-2009 Amazon.com box arrives.
10-19-2009 The wife IMs me at work, "I like the new cupcake pan. It cleans up soooooooo nice. Very easily!!!!! Sickeningly easy cleanup. Maybe we should ditch the other one too."

True story.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must for every kitchen, March 8, 2009

A great add for anyone who likes muffins or cupcakes or whatever you want to make with it. The pan itself is very thick and a little on the heavy side as this is to keep the pan from warping with constant use. The cup size is pretty accurate when the package says makes 6 it makes 6. It is nonstick so the product comes out very easily. I don't know how long the Nonstick surface will last but for now it seems to be doing great. For the price and value you can't beat this pan.

I bought 2 of these muffin pans to replace my old pans that had become a nightmare to use due to sticking. The Farberware pans are excellent and my muffins no longer are a problem to remove. However, I will tell you that I am no longer using Pam spray on my non-stick baking pans. I did some research as to why my old pans became a sticking nightmare - and it was due to my use of the non-stick vegetable sprays (like Pam) on the non-stick surfaces. A glaze eventually forms and can't be removed by washing or major scrubbing. So after more research I found that you can use what is called "Baker's grease" - a combination of vegetable shortening, vegetable oil and flour. (Google it to find the recipe) I have been using the "Baker's grease" on my new muffin pans and I no longer have the problem of a gunky buildup on my pans. Also, wanted to let you know that I also have a Wilton brand muffin pan that I bought a month earlier and also have only used the "Baker's grease on - the Farberware pans are vastly superior in the non-stickability area.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best so far, February 3, 2010

This review is from: Farberware 52106 Nonstick Bakeware 12-Cup Muffin Pan (Kitchen)
I bake a lot of Oat bran muffin, and I have been looking for a good pan that food would not stick to it. I mostly used all the brands name from expensive to the cheap ones, and I got really disappointed with them. some times I had to soak the pan over night to be able to clean it. I read some good reviews here about Farberware and I ordered one. It is really good and I am going to order a couple more.

Thanks to all the people who wrote reviews here so we can make a good choice.

I have five other muffin pans, two of which are supposed to be nonstick, but they simply cannot beat this Farberware pan. This pan is the only one where the muffins or cupcakes lift out and leave almost no residue behind which makes cleanup a breeze. The only problem is that now I wish I had at least three more of these pans!
