This is a great set. They are very durable. They are nice looking and cook evenly. If you're wanting to boil water in a hurry these are the pans for you...they boil really fast and hold their heat well. The only problem I have with this set is the fry pans are a bit small but I also have a large family. They are nonstick and cleanup is sooooo easy. You can practically wipe them clean with a paper towel. Great for scrambled eggs, omelettes and pancakes. Has a great price attached too. :)

I have had Farberware pots and pans for over 30 years. They never stick, burn, clean up well (and easily) and still look new after all these years. I am looking forward to ordering this new pasta pot edition. I use the 1 and 2 quart pans on a regular basis and can definitely use a few more. Can't wait to try this pasta pot.

The best set of pots and pans you can get, for this price, to get ANYONE started! I cook more than the average joe, and I'm thoroughly impressed by this set.

The lid on the pot is awesome! I use it all the time, to drain the water out, from cooking crabs to washing fruit, this is a great set.

Worth every penny.

Been using this set for 8 months, I like them alot. They all have a nice thick aluminum bottom for even heating, easy to clean. A great starting set for someone learning how to cook (like me).

My only complain are the Skillet and Saucepan handles, they Curve upward. Most skillets I have used in the past, have a fairly straight handle comming off of pan, but the Classics have a raised/curved handle, and makes the balance alittle off.

It feels alittle awkward, I have to tilt my wrist downward to hold it. If I hold them like other skillets, the pan will tilt back, toward me.

If the handles were more straight, these would get a 5 out of 5 stars.

I have been on move every 3 to 6 months. I used to buy $30 cookware from walmart. They are chep and not usable with in 3 months time. This time I tried Farberware 9 piece set. Wow! it's great set for $35. I can keep this set for long time. It has beautiful stainless steel look, heat spreads evenly.

Look no further just go ahead and buy it, you will be surprised to see quality kitchen ware for such a low price. It's great starter set.

Only caveat I can see is, holding the handles may not be comfortable due to it's curved handle design.

I inherited an old Faberware pot years ago that was, and still is, my favorite. So when I was looking for a basic set of pans to put on our gift registry, I knew this was the set to get. The price and quality simply can't be beat.

After using a mish-mash of various pots, pans and lids for several years, I finally decided to take the plunge and buy one quality set. I read several reviews and shopped in the stores, checking all kinds of different brands. It finally dawned on me that my own mother has had this set of pots and pans for many, many years and I've always admired them. Not surprisingly, I've really enjoyed using this whole set for everyday cooking. (The only suggestion I have is to purchase a separate 12-inch pan/lid, which is not included in this set and really is necessary if you're cooking for more than one person.)

I bought this set a couple of weeks ago for my wife. It is not as good as most people claimed here. Today my wife showed me there are quite some spots(stains) inside the small pot at the bottom after only one use. I tried washing it again and again and the spots just would not go away. The sauce pan also scratched my flat top stove (well, for this I can probably blame my stove is too delicate, but my old pan did not have such a problem).

Beautiful set but the handles on the dutch oven get too hot to handle.

Great set, the only problem I found is that the handles on the dutch oven get too hot to handle!
