4.0 out of 5 stars Gave these as a gift
We gave this cookware set to my mother-in-law for Christmas and she has raved about them ever since. They are very easy to clean as nothing sticks to the non-stick cooking surfaces. She said they are "too pretty to use" so if you are looking for cookware that is pretty and easy to clean then this set is for you.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good "starter" set...
This is a good starter set, but if you cook very much I'd go with a higher quality set. When we received this set one pan was uneven and would gently rock back and forth when boiling water (we have a flat ceramic stove top; maybe it doesn't do this on a conventional stove). I use wooden utensils when cooking, hand wash them with a sponge, and let them air dry. However,...

However, even with this care the nonstick coating still comes off more than I would have expected. The pans are of a decent weight...not too heavy, not too flimsy. The glass lids are nice (but they do make a popping sound as food is cooking), and the built in strainers are very handy for straining vegetables and large pasta. For the money, they're a great deal, but if you cook much or are wanting a set to last a long time I'd suggest a higher quality brand. I'm going to try this set: Cuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless 10-Piece Cookware Set It got great reviews in Cook's Illustrated.

I was pleased to have purchased this great set of pots and pans on Amazon for $40. When I received them in the mail, I went to Wal Mart and Target and noticed the same set was double the price! I am 100% satisfied with these and use them on a daily basis.

First off, I am extremely impressed with the non-stick surface on them, you don't even need butter or oil to cook mostly everything, and they clean up in seconds! The set is perfect for the beginner, but if you're doing work in the kitchen, you might want to consider a stock pot and 12" frying pan as the largest one in the set is a bit small.

I love these pans and will undoubtedly get additional pans to match the set off of Amazon. Will recommend to anyone! =0)

5.0 out of 5 stars Quite Satisfied, October 3, 2007

I recently purchasedFarberware Accents 10-Piece Cookware Set, Silver and I have to say that I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I especially like the fact that the saucepans have lids with drainage holes to help drain foods. It was at a good price too, considering I had priced this exact item at local stores and it was a lot more expensive.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed, August 10, 2008

I bought this set to replace a set of T-Fal pots/pans I've had for years where the non-stick surface has scraped off from use. But the handles are metal which means they get hot when something is cooking. I don't like using pot holders (too cumbersome), so I plan on returning this set. Very disappointing, otherwise this set seems like a great value.

First off, let me tell you, that I have been super careful with this set. I only hand wash, with a soft cloth, and air dry. The coating chips off, and even sticks to my smooth top stove, while cooking. The nonstick coating scratches too easily, even with utensils designed for it. The glass covers make cracking sounds when cooking with them. The metal on the bottom rusts, for no apparent reason. They do cook the food well, and I love the straining lids. They look pretty on my pot rack too.

4.0 out of 5 stars mediocre, August 3, 2010

I will not highly recommend this set.I got this for my wife.Initially she loved it but later the silver color starting turning brown due to heat.
Also the handles are made up of metal and become hot when cooked for a longer time.Always need a mitt to lift these pots from stove.May be its not a very good choice for Indian cooking. However I give it 4 stars because the nonstick coating is intact even after using it daily for couple of years. Also is fine if washed in dishwasher. The lids act as strainer and very suitable if needed to drain water after cooking.

4.0 out of 5 stars seems like good quality, July 8, 2009

I have been using the pots for about a week, and they seem good. I like that although the handles are metal, they don't get hot and I like that the smaller pots have the drainage in the lid. I wish the big pot also had the drain in the lid. Other than that, they are easy to clean and have cooked my food as expected.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pots & Pans - Review, June 3, 2009
This review is from: Farberware Accents 10-Piece Cookware Set, Silver (Kitchen)
I'm in the proces off moving, so I havent used any of this set as of yet, but the other set I have is exactly the same. Thick heavy duty, yet lite in weight. I truly love them. I have a hard time finding these kind of pot's in the store. So I love them and I know they'll work out well...
