Solid stockpot. Roomy, perfect for cooking up soup for an army and freezing some for later. Quality that you can feel just by picking it up. Very pleased with purchase.

Farberware 18/10 stainless steel cookware is a good line. I had this cookware at one time, and I can recommend it, especially for use on gas burners. Unlike Calphalon cookware, it can go in the dishwasher. However, to keep the finish gleaming, you might need to scrub the pots and pans frequently with cleanser and scouring pads. This 10-Quart Stockpot is a kitchen essential.

This stockpot is an awesome find and an awesome deal. I purchased it, scoffing at the "retail price". When I received it - I was amazed at the quality of the pot! It is super heavy with a thick bottom to prevent scorching and burning. I thought I would only use it for heavy duty crowd cooking - but I find myself using it all of the time. It give plenty of space for spagetti to roll and move while it boils. I love making an endless pot of soup that we eat for days. I love this pot and you will too!!

I bought this stockpot because I'd started making my own soup at home. I was hoping to get a pot that was a little more heavy duty, because this one is a bit thin. However, I used it anyway, and in true Farberware form, this pot came through for me. So, aside from being lightweight, this one does its job. Plus, a great price, too.

This stainless steel stock pot is just right for those of us who can't fit our favorite soup recipes into a dutch oven. Cleaning it is a breeze, and it is still small enough to fit on a convenient cabinet shelf. That says it all.

Like the title says, I use this all the time. It cleans up easily in the dishwasher and now its $10 less than when I bought it. You won't go wrong if you purchase this!

This is a very good quality item from Farberware. It's strong and cooks really well. The price was/is excellent, too. A stockpot such as this is one of those essentials you must have around the house. As I said earlier, my mom loves it and she's picky when it comes to cookware... so most of you probably will enjoy it too!

No where in the description did it say the core was aluminum. I was under the impression it was all stainless steel. Wouldn't have bought it if I had been aware of that.

It's an attractive pot. Holds it's sparkle even after the dishwasher. But everything I have cooked in it the bottom scorches. No, I'm not cooking to high, I can have it hi, medium, low, simmer, it doesn't matter, the bottom scorches. It's a good size for a sauce pan.

For a stockpot there's no brand like Farberware. It's the workhorse of the industry. I love the covers as the edges drop into the pot so water or soup or anything in it ever seeps over the top. The cover keeps everything locked in. You can scrub and use the most abrasive pads to clean the pot and never worry. They don't even scratch from use. Not that anything sticks that much you just don't have to worry. I loved Farberware stockpots 40years ago and I'm still faithful.I have one 3 quart for over 25 years and there is nothing wrong with it today. They seem to last forever. Don't judge a stockpot by it's price, still can't get better than Farberware.
