Perfect! This is of course good to warm butter or make a little bitty sauce - but who does that every day? We use it to heat the cream for our coffee, reheat the cold tea or soup, and make real hot chocolate last thing at night. Good balance on the stove and cleans up easy. Cute too!

I have two of these Warmers and use them for much more than butter - especially around the holidays. They are heavy duty, which you don't see by the pciture, and are also great for melting chocolate, cheese, scalding milk, and much more. If you need a smaller pan for cooking project, I stongly recommend this one!!

I am using this great little kitchen tool ALL the time!! Perfect for warming sauces, melting butter, heating small amounts of liquid and so much more!

I am very happy with this butter warmer, it makes baking very easier...you just place the butter in this and it melts very fast. The area where you pour out the melt butter is also very safe..there is no threat at being scald.

This little pan was a lifesaver during my holiday baking frenzy, but I find myslef using it well after the holiday season as well. It is the perfect size for melting a cube of butter, and it is very easy to brown the butter without burning it. The spout feature is really handy for not making a mess when pouring out the melted butter. This is a very handy little gadget that I wish I had purchased some time ago.

I use this pan for making hollandaise sauce, and other sauces that make about a cup. It works for warming butter or making a basting sauce for somthing on the grill. Barbeque sauce warms up nicely for barbeque ribs. I know I will find other uses for it, too, but I bought it especially for packaged sauces that make about a cup. The base is nice and solid, it won't blow over beside the barbeque grill!

I bought this pot in desperation, looking for something smaller than a 1-quart saucepan to cook small portions in. I was a bit skeptical since it's supposedly a butter warmer and has a funky shape, but it is perfect.

This is a very heavy and sturdy pot. I thought it would be delicate because it is small, but it has a very thick and heavy bottom that keeps it well-balanced on the stove. The sides are as thick as any other saucepan I have.

It is perfect to cook a small portion of frozen vegetables, soup or leftovers in. I use it every day for these things and have never once melted butter in it! I only wish it came with a lid.

This little pot is the perfect size to melt butter or make sauce or gravy. I was looking for an ideal size to melt butter and found this.....couldn't be happier. And with the great deals you can get from Amazon, I think I found this at a reduced price......I love Farberware products....take a licking and keep on ticking......

Pan is great quality and a great size. Not too small, but large enough to mix up a packet of gravy mix or 2 cups of water. Thinking about buying another one. Very stable on my gas range, stay cool handle.

Thrilled with this product. It is so hard to find a sauce pan in these dimensions- perfect for heating your coffee's milk on the stove or melting butter. I bought a similar one years ago and have been looking for another, - the other one I have is a little taller and smaller at the base- which is better for frothing milk- but I haven't found another stovetop model. This is classic Farberware with a solid, heavy bottom, a really lovely little saucepan- I"m considering getting another. Great little pan.
