If your reading this review you probably are really confused about what exactly make a "good" pot/pan. Well...I was like you when I decided that my "hand me down" pots/pans, had to go and I needed something more presentable for guest. I'm the type of person that will research stuff like this to make a better decision, and as I did I found that FABERWARE is really an awesome brand. When I received this cookware set, I was amazed. The are better than what I expected for a set under 50 dollars. The craftmanship is not shotty. The handles are metal and great for quick transfer to the oven, dishwasher safe. The color, being charcoal greyish the match with most any kitchen. The sizes of pots are PERFECT for the beginner who needs sort of everything. I'm a single guy, in an apartment here in NYC. I needed a cookware set that would meet all my requirements, guest, dates, parties and everyday use. The diversity of pot/pan sizes and the quality of craftsmanship makes this set a MUST GET for the "first-time or extra set" buyer.

I have found that farberware does not stand behind their products. I have this 10 pcs set and I loved it at first but after I used it for awhile the coating from the inside of the pan started coming off into the food that I was cooking. And to find out the coating on the inside of the pan is not guaranteed.(I am very disapointed in the FARBERWARE COMPANY I WILL NOT BUY ANYTHING THAT SAYS FARBERWARE OR MEYER ON IT.)

I PURCHASED MY FARBERWARE COOK'N EASY 10-PIECE SET LAST JANUARY 27TH AND IN THE 4 MONTHS I HAVE BEEN USING IT ON A DAILY BASIS I FIND THAT IT HOLDS UP BETTER THAN MANY HIGHER-PRICED SETS.IT'S A WONDERFUL SET TO CLEAN UP AFTER USE BECAUSE OF THE NON-STICK MATRIAL THAT IS USED TO MAKE THE POTS INSIDE AND OUT. ANOTHER NICE THING ABOUT THEM IS THEIR COLOR, CHARCOAL-IT GOES JUST ABOUT WITH ANY COLOR SCHEME IN THE KITCHEN.WE, MY HUSBAND AND I (HE WASHES THEM AND SOMETIMES EVEN COOKS IN THEM)FIND THEM VERY EASY TO MANTAIN N GREAT SHAPE AND WOULD BUY A 4 QT SAUCEPOT IF IT WERE AVAILABE ( IS IT?)OF THE SAME SET. I RECOMMEND THIS SET VERY HIGHLY. A GREAT BUY FOR SUCH A ECONIMICAL PRICE.

a must have, i have had hand me downs going on 26 years now, my girlfriend bought faberware about the same time i was getting all my relatives old sets, they were great , but looking very aged, she has has farberware swears by it all these years, still looks like new, just now bought the 16 quart pot, wont buy anything else, i too, since i have bought my set, i will not go any where else but to faberware, cooks great, cleans easy and looks classy on my stove. buy it , you wont be disapointed.
