Farberware Double Time Timer with Alarm Clock

Three things I dislike about this timer. First, you can't set the amount of time you want on it ahead so that it is ready to push "start" when you are actually ready to go. If you do that, when you come back to it it has reverted to clock mode and you have to reenter your time. Second, the alarm is blaringly loud. Third, although it has a loop so that you could hang it up and a magnet on the back, it has no support that will allow you to stand it upright in a slightly tilted position so that you can read it. It will stand on end, but I have to pick it up to see the display. I do like the large buttons, and the fact that you don't have to press a button 30 times to reach 30 minutes, for example, because there is a button for each number. But I wouldn't buy this particular model a second time, nor recommend it to others.

This timer is very useful. It's easy to read with large readout and a loud and continuous alarm that you can't miss...very useful if you have background noise. I am quite happy with it.

The magnet holds the timer on the fridgerator well. Nice, loud and easy to use. The timer is simple and the buttons are spaced so even my fumble fingers can use it.
