I just purchased this product yesterday, and my coffee this morning is wonderful. I had always used drip coffee makers in the past, and currently have a Bunn Thermal Coffee maker, but it doesn't keep the coffee hot enough for me. This percolator is perfect. Delicious coffee in about 5 minutes, and the coffee stays hot without tasting old after sitting for a while. Haven't tried the grinder yet. You won't be disappointed with this product. Farberware is the best!

We got one of these as a gift about six years ago and have been enjoying great coffee and flawless performance ever since. This newer model has a glass top knob while ours is black plastic. Like many others, I've experimented with different methods of brewing coffee but find myself returning to the percolator for a better tasting cup of java. An added benefit is the way perc-ing a pot creates such a wonderful aroma of coffee throughout the house. While there are some other noteworthy methods of brewing, percolated coffee is still my favorite and Farberware makes a superb percolator. Great quality, durability and a fine looking pot.

(12-18-2011) - I saw this review I'd posted a few years back and thought I'd mention that I'm still using this same percolator today. Granted there's not allot to go wrong with one, but this one still looks and performs like it's new, even after brewing coffee every day for almost twelve years.

I've had my percolator and grinder for about five months now, I get a perfect pot of coffee every time I use it. I like my coffee extra-strong and it delivers. I don't think I'll ever use a drip machine again - I can store this away, it cleans easily, the wrap filters are far cheaper and the coffee does keep longer without burning and it stays hot. Unless the individual percolator is faulty, I think this is a well-made product and I would definitely buy it again.

Have always used Farberware percolators. Gave this as a gift to my husband's parents. They received it in 2 days. They grind their own coffee, and have a 12 cup pot of fresh brewed coffee in 12 minutes.
