Fabrication quality is very good, with polished exterior, machine-turned base, sturdy handles, and thick walls. Because it's aluminum, it's not so heavy that handling it becomes awkward.

Slip even a large bird with ease into this roaster, sprinkle with spices, pour a can of chicken broth into the bottom, and roast in a 325-degree oven for three and a half to four hours with the lid on. Then raise the temp to 350 and take the lid off for another 15 minutes or so. Your bird is perfectly moist throughout, delicately crisped on top, and clean-up is quick and easy.

What's not to like?

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this roaster, considering the price. It's also larger than I had imagined and will easily hold a good-sized turkey. The first meal I made in it was roast beef with vegetables and it tasted great and cleaned up easily.
Don't let the word "aluminum" deceive you; this roaster is "cast aluminum" and is therefore VERY heavy. I'd guess it's pretty much indestructible.

This product is everything it was advertised to be, and the quality is absolutely awesome!

I received my roaster within 3 days of ordering. It was excellent quality and made of commercial-grade aluminum with a thick bottom on the pan. The lid fit tightly and allowed the food to cook properly with no loss of moisture. I would highly recommend this product. Thanks Amazon!

This was a very nice surprise! It is a quality product, heavy, and cooks well. We used it on St. Patrick's Day to cook our corned beef and were pleased with the results!

Let me start by telling you this roasting pan is beautiful. Taking it out of the box I was very impressed by it's sheen, color, shape, and weight. If you have stainless steel appliances in your kitchen you will not want to put this away in a cabinet as it matches everything so well. In fact, I have decided to store it on the ledge over the top of my cabinets since it is so pretty -- plus, it really does take up a lot of cabinet space that I need for other less-pretty pots. I am slightly concerned that over time and use the aluminum finish will become spotty and lose it's sheen, but I'll worry about finding a spot to hide it if it comes to that later.

By the way, an inventive use for this roaster is using the bottom as an ice bucket/drink holder. We had some guests over recently and I put ice and beer bottles in it. It worked great and looked nice.

My box came with a Farberware $20 rebate coupon attached that is valid until 2008. That makes this an excellent bargain!

This is a heavy duty roaster. I made chicken biryani( rice and chicken dish)in this roaster and it turned out really good.It did not stick or burn. It lived up to my expectations and I am a picky shopper I recommend this piece to someone who enjoys cooking and can appreciate "quality cookware". I am very happy that I got it for $30.00.

Caught this on sale and bought 2 more. Heavy and well built. Recommend it to anyone looking for a quality roaster.
