The set includes a 1-quart covered saucepan, a 3-quart covered saucepan, a 10-quart covered stockpot, 8-inch and 10-inch skillets, a 12-inch covered sauté pan, a 2-quart steamer insert, and two plastic utensils: a slotted spoon and a slotted spatula. The cookware is made of 18/10 stainless steel with highly polished outer surfaces and aluminum cores in the bottoms of the pots and pans for even heat distribution. I buy farberware everything: knives, pots and pans etc. But last year my newish pot cracked. The company told me to send it in for a refund. That was 8 months ago and in spite of calls to the company, I still have not seen the refund or a replacement pot. They say it takes time, but how much time....

My first set of pots and pans when I got married 20 years ago was a set of faberware from my mom. I decided to buy they new design for my summer house. The handles are much better than the old design. The heat is better distributed. The sales rep. where I bought them told me not to turn the pan on high because they did get hotter than I would be used to with the old style. I am very impatient when it comes to cooking and need things ready 5 minutes ago. She was right they do get very hot fast. They clean well although if you don't want to use any elbow grease you better skip these pans and go for the teflon. The price on this deal is better than I have seen in alot of retail stores in my area

I have purchased this brand of product in the past with a "lifetime" warranty, but when there is a problem the company has not backed up its warranty.
