4.0 out of 5 stars Farberware, a staple for most of us older brides
My first set of pots and pans when I got married 20 years ago was a set of faberware from my mom. I decided to buy they new design for my summer house. The handles are much better than the old design. The heat is better distributed. The sales rep. where I bought them told me not to turn the pan on high because they did get hotter than I would be used to with the old...

2.0 out of 5 stars A Household Staple but NO company back-up
I buy farberware everything: knives, pots and pans etc. But last year my newish pot cracked. The company told me to send it in for a refund. That was 8 months ago and in spite of calls to the company, I still have not seen the refund or a replacement pot. They say it takes time, but how much time....

The handles are much better than the old design. The heat is better distributed. The sales rep. where I bought them told me not to turn the pan on high because they did get hotter than I would be used to with the old style. I am very impatient when it comes to cooking and need things ready 5 minutes ago. She was right they do get very hot fast. They clean well although if you don't want to use any elbow grease you better skip these pans and go for the teflon. The price on this deal is better than I have seen in alot of retail stores in my area

I have purchased this brand of product in the past with a "lifetime" warranty, but when there is a problem the company has not backed up its warranty.

1.0 out of 5 stars Farberware Millenium Headache!, May 21, 2000
This review is from: Farberware Millennium Stainless Steel 13-Piece Super Cookware Set (Kitchen)
Farberware products are good cheap, disposable cookware. However, anyone expecting any type of factory warranty or service should read the above reviews and this one. Our Farberware Millenium failed and needed repairs. It was poorly repaired and not all returned. This is after nine months. They have also ignored a complaint to the NY State Consumer Protection Bureau. My next step is a Small Claims Court action. If this is what you want in your future, buy a Farberware product or anything made by the Meyer Corporation. They are the company that originally made my fine Farberware product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Farberware does it again!, February 7, 2001
This review is from: Farberware Millennium Stainless Steel 13-Piece Super Cookware Set (Kitchen)
I've always been a Farberware fan because their products have been sleek and useful, as well as priced just right. This set is as perfect as can be.

This set includes two saucepans, stockpot, two skillets, sauté pan and steamer insert. There are matching lids for everything and there's also a plastic spoon and spatula. As usual, everything is dishwasher safe for a fast cleaning.

The only drawback here is if you wind up with a defective pot, which can happen. Farberware has mediocre customer service (probably b/c they spend more $$$ on research), so you might find yourself making a few calls to get the problem resolved. Apart from that, this is a winner set!

4.0 out of 5 stars Farberware MILLENIUM cookware, May 17, 2000

This review is from: Farberware Millennium Stainless Steel 13-Piece Super Cookware Set (Kitchen)
I have been using a Farberware MILLENIUM omlet pan for more than ten years, and a Saucier of the same brand for two years. I find them to be excellent cookware. They can take any temperature I need, they heat evenly, nothing ever sticks to them, and they are amazingly easy to clean. The only reason I haven't replaced everything else I cook in with Farberware MILLENIUM is the high cost. I believe they are worth the price, and this new collection, at this price, is a definite bargain.

5.0 out of 5 stars Still loving this set after 2 years and lots of cooking, June 16, 2002

This review is from: Farberware Millennium Stainless Steel 13-Piece Super Cookware Set (Kitchen)
I bought this set a couple years ago, and I'm still very pleased with its value and performance. I did a lot of research beforehand about what kind of cookware would be right for our household, and the stainless steel has definitely proved itself worthy. It's easy to clean, and even after 2 years, ours still looks very nice too. The pans heat up evenly, and the handles are very comfortable. Their construction is solid and sturdy, and this set has a variety of pots and pans to fit many needs. I haven't had any problems with them, and I'm really pleased that it was such a good investment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible value, May 17, 2000
This review is from: Farberware Millennium Stainless Steel 13-Piece Super Cookware Set (Kitchen)
No this is not All Clad. However, in my mind that's a good thing. This cookware is so inexpensive that I couldn't help but buy it a year ago. It has been a great pleasure use. It does all the things premium cookware should at a fraction of the price.

4.0 out of 5 stars Word of mouth goes along way!, November 25, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Farberware Millennium Stainless Steel 13-Piece Super Cookware Set (Kitchen)
I have two peices from Farberware. A regular electric skillet and a electric pancake skillet that I received as a wedding gift 3 years ago. They have been great, but after receiving the reveiws that others have entered regarding the customer service that Farberware provides, I do not think I will ever buy anything from them. It sounds as if they are pretty consistant with "not" helping their customers when they have a defective product. A company should always have the attitude that the customer is always right. Although,we all know we can be wrong, Farberware would still come out ahead.

1.0 out of 5 stars Total waste of money, May 16, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Farberware Millennium Stainless Steel 13-Piece Super Cookware Set (Kitchen)
I bought the millennium cookware set when I got marries 4 1/2 years ago believing in the hype. What a joke! On all of my pots the nonstick coating is flaking off. I no longer use them to cook with because I do not want to eat the coating. A total waste of money. The pots are not even worth the one star I gave it but, amazon does not give the option of giving zero stars in a review.
