Beautiful pan
I purchased this double boiler several months ago and it has become one of my favorite cooking tools. Aside from being beautiful, and a very nice double boiler, it is the perfect size to use just as a saucepan. It has a nice weight - not too heavy, but substantial. DISSAPOINTING
I have a Farberware clad stainless 4 quart pan made in Italy. It is a beauty. I was expecting similar quality with the stainless copper clad. It was light weight. The core did not go up the side of the pan. I was dissapointed to say the least.

I have a Farberware clad stainless 4 quart pan made in Italy. It is a beauty. I was expecting similar quality with the stainless copper clad. It was light weight. The core did not go up the side of the pan. I was dissapointed to say the least.

I purchased this double boiler several months ago and it has become one of my favorite cooking tools. Aside from being beautiful, and a very nice double boiler, it is the perfect size to use just as a saucepan. It has a nice weight - not too heavy, but substantial. The copper bottom cleans up in no time using Barkeepers Friend. The little fleur de lis design on the handle is a charming touch, too. The rivets holding the handle on are more than adequate. All in all I truly love it! I can't find a thing about it that I don't like. I would recommend it if you are in need of a nice sized double boiler.
