I cook for a family of five (3 teenagers) and this pan is the perfect size. If you are looking for something lightweight then this pan probably isn't for you - it is a bit heavy as would be expected for a pan of this size and quality. I use this pan almost every day and it has held up better than my other non-stick pans. It is also EXTREMELY easy to clean. The only thing I would improve upon is the lid....although nice....I prefer the sleek glass lids over the domed stainless steel. But I still give it 5 stars because I haven't found a better quality pan for the price....especially when Amazon has it for under $20. I will be buying another one as soon as I find more room in my kitchen cabinets!

Another excellent Farberware product. The pan is deep enough so that when you stir the food while cooking, none of it spills onto the stove. The second handle is great for controlling the pan while cooking and for ease of picking it up when moving it to a serving platter. The only drawback to this pan is its size---it might be larger than the biggest burner element on some stoves, and it definitely won't fit in dishwashers. Having said that, for those people like us who have big families, this is a great addition to your cookware line-up.

We bought 2 of these frying pans about 2 months ago. They have been fantastic!! If you need some great frying pans at a good, no GREAT price these are well worth it!!!

This pan is great for cooking large meals. Meals don't boil over and you can fry a whole package of bacon easily without overlapping the peices. I would recommend this pan to anyone who cooks. Very reasonable price for a must have in the kitchen.

This item is pretty lightweight and thin gauged but it serves my purpose at a price range I am currently comfortable at. The high sides allow for frying without making too much splatters so even if I cook just for 2 or 3, it's what I now reach for when I need a pan. Though I must say that I have my eyes on the heavier kind once budget allows.

I love this skillet! It's huge and cleans up extremely easily! I fried chicken in it and it fried quickly and evenly! I LOVE IT! I bought two...one for now and one for later!

I have enjoyed using this for all of those recipes that ask for a "large skillet" It works great and the depth keeps things from sloshing out.

Not as thick and heavy as expected.. (didn't expect much for the price anyway)... but not bad overall... Should last atleast a year...

For ppl who are not sure of its size.. its easily the largest pan in our home... as big as the huge wok.

Just the size you need to cook for a big family and not too heavy that you can't lift it (although it does have a handle on the other side for balance). Weight of the pan is perfect. Clean up is a breeze and the lid is perfect since many pans this size doesn't come with a lid. You can't go wrong with this.

i brought this and it is worth every penny of it ...
i use it to fry chicken breast for chicken marsala, and it can fit up to 8 breast, beats the old way of frying 4 at a time.
i loved it so much and show it to a friend and she had me order 2 for her & her mom. paid $[...] for it and now it is $[...] even sweeter.
