Product Description

Amazon.com Review

This triple-pack of Farberware aluminum pans is an efficient way to jump-start a first kitchen or round out your cookware collection. The set includes an 8-inch skillet, a 9-inch skillet, and an 11-inch-square griddle. Farberware's nonstick coating lets you scramble eggs, sauté vegetables, or fry burgers with less fat and makes for easy clean-up. Lightweight and maneuverable, the pans distribute heat quickly, thanks to their highly conductive aluminum construction. The hollow riveted stainless-steel handles stay cool on the stovetop and are safe in the oven up to 350 degrees F. Though these pans may not be the ones you pass on to your grandchildren, they're a comfortable, solid starter set. --Emily Bedard

Very pleased with this item December 15, 2004

I ended up getting this through a promotion for free. I am amazed by how much use I get out of them. I have experienced no problems with things sticking. They heat evenly. They clean easily. I am going easy on the coating, using the right utensils on them. Everything has been fine. Even though I have a lot of Calphalon Commercial that I use for most things, these still stay within easy reach on my potrack and are used regularly.

Considering they were free they are really 5 stars, but trying to rate them against the listed price, the one problem is that they are small. These are not pans you are going to use to easily prepare a meal for the entire family.

Great on a shoestring June 12, 2003
For the gift giver; the pans are light and come in plastic-wrap. For the cook; a light pan heats and cools quickly so there will be a slight learning curve but it is much easier on the wrist and therefore, safer; the strongly rivited handle appears safe and professional; the bottom is fully relieved in alternating circles, in ridges, about 1/8" wide and 1/16 deep - this causes rapid dispersal of heat giving more even cooking - this feature is not always found in the "cheaper" sets.

In conclusion, it is a very good starter set for the single person, the college student, and all those on a slim budget. My wife says, "What can you say, other than 'They sell for under [$$].'"

I think theese pans are great. They are light weight and durable. I have been using them for a few months now and I have yet to have something stick to them that took more then two seconds to clean. The only problem is they are small. I wouldn't recomend them for someone who had a lot (or even two) people to feed.

Cheap pans
I liked it at first but within the year there was a chip and it warped. So I had to toss it . Probably better to get a higher quality one.

Cheap and unreliable
I pretty much agree with others criticizing about the quality of those products.
The square shaped pan pretty much shapes up like a bowl within 2 weeks of usage. Read more

Non stick pans
I read the reviews but just didn't think it would sit that uneven on the surface of my stove top. Cooks pancakes, bacon and eggs fine. Cleans up well. Read more

Farberware Junk
The pans were extremely "out of round" and appear to be major factory rejects that should have been scrapped.

If they weren't so cheap I would have returned them. Read more

Light And Useful
This little set of small non-stick pans is a nice buy from Amazon. The small frying pans are fine for quick use. The grill pan is a little small, but workable. Read more

Bad pots
These pots do not do well on flat top stoves, they warp and are not suitable for any high temperatures.

Lightweight
I typically prefer a much heavier pan. These are extremely lightweight, but so far so good.
