I ended up getting this through a promotion for free. I am amazed by how much use I get out of them. I have experienced no problems with things sticking. They heat evenly. They clean easily. I am going easy on the coating, using the right utensils on them. Everything has been fine. Even though I have a lot of Calphalon Commercial that I use for most things, these still stay within easy reach on my potrack and are used regularly.

Considering they were free they are really 5 stars, but trying to rate them against the listed price, the one problem is that they are small. These are not pans you are going to use to easily prepare a meal for the entire family.

For the gift giver; the pans are light and come in plastic-wrap. For the cook; a light pan heats and cools quickly so there will be a slight learning curve but it is much easier on the wrist and therefore, safer; the strongly rivited handle appears safe and professional; the bottom is fully relieved in alternating circles, in ridges, about 1/8" wide and 1/16 deep - this causes rapid dispersal of heat giving more even cooking - this feature is not always found in the "cheaper" sets.
In conclusion, it is a very good starter set for the single person, the college student, and all those on a slim budget. My wife says, "What can you say, other than 'They sell for under [$$].'"

Cookware is used for cooking so if you're more concerned with presentation and rather you can throw this pan through a wall with it still being easy-to-use then this review won't help you much. I've used heavier pans and lighter pans with all kinds of handles but the bottom line is if it gets the job done. These pans get it done. The pans are light but that doesn't suggest a lack of quality. The griddle is fantastic and heats evenly even on smaller burners (like mine). The griddle is versatile, so much so that I used it for pancakes in the morning and 4 large burgers at night. The cleaning is amazingly simple but I would suggest cleaning it right after the pan cools (much easier that way). A few problems though: Amazon lists the two fry pans as 8 inches and 10 inches. The packaging for the pans listed them as 8 inches and 9 inches. In fact, I bought an 8 inch and 10 inch lid for the pans and while the 8 inch lid fit perfectly on the 8 inch pan the 10 inch lid was too big on the "10 inch" pan. This, in my opinion, because of the close proximity in size, makes buying a set like this a little less worth it. That's not to say that they aren't good fry pans. I just feel it better to have diversity in the size and depth of fry pans. I might suggest just finding a good griddle on your own and a different fry pan set but if you can just use more fry pans then you won't do too bad with buying this set.

I think theese pans are great. They are light weight and durable. I have been using them for a few months now and I have yet to have something stick to them that took more then two seconds to clean. The only problem is they are small. I wouldn't recomend them for someone who had a lot (or even two) people to feed.

These pans DO NOT have plastic handles. How you could mistake these metal handles for plastic is beyond me. Anyway, you get what you pay for. ... The handles feel like they could break off with little abuse. They cook fine. I haven't had the set long enough to see how the non stick holds up. They are fine FOR THE PRICE. Just don't expect this set to be high quality that will last for years and years. The reason I gave them a high rating is because they are worth the low price charged. They'd be great to give a kid who is starting up their apartment, and fine for a bachelor.

Recently bought this 3-piece set to supplement some more expensives pans I was buying to replace those I have that have simply worn out. While their weight/quality was not equal to the others I bought their cost was far less. They are well balanced, of reasonable thickness with decent heat distribution and I can simply toss them in the dishwasher (not the case with the other, pricey pans I bought). For overall functionality, ease of use, and cooking performance, I thought this set was a very good value. Would recommend for easy clean up, everyday use.

This set of pans is a GREAT Value. If you want commercial grade pans, then these are not for you. If you are looking for a great value for some relatively decent pans, then you've found what you are looking for. When I bought these pans they came with a rebate, which made them a steal. You cannot go wron with practically free, right? The slightly curved metal handles are a nice feature and are easy to work with. The pans are pretty light, but seem to cook well. I even bought a second set to give as a gift! The only thing I didn't like is that the griddle didn't not fit well over my burners and hence, did not cook evenly...Should have seen that coming, huh? In any case, the griddle still works very well and is useful. I gave them four stars by compairing price to quality...this is a win, win situation.

I liked it at first but within the year there was a chip and it warped. So I had to toss it . Probably better to get a higher quality one.
Pans are light.
Non stick worked well at first

Thin coating
Warped and chipped after first year
Heating was not that even
