Stamped from high-carbon stainless steel, the kitchen knives are an 8-inch chef's knife for rocking through chopping tasks, an 8-inch slicing knife for carving roasts and poultry, a 6-3/4-inch fillet knife with a flexible blade for fish, a 5-inch boning/utility knife with a stiff blade, and a 3-inch paring knife. All the knives have rugged synthetic handles attached to full tangs with three stainless-steel rivets for traditional style. The 9-inch sharpening steel keeps knife edges aligned, and the 8-inch shears have a bottle opener between the handles.
