The interior surface features durable Dupont Teflon nonstick coating to simplify food removal and facilitate low-fat cooking. Additionally, clean-up is a breeze. Stainless-steel handles with imbedded silicone padding echo the pan's exterior color and provide a comfortable, heat-resistant hold. Clear glass lids fit snuggly on their bases and enable food monitoring.

Supplying everything needed to outfit a new kitchen, the 10-piece collection includes two covered saucepans holding 1 and 2 quarts respectively, a 6-quart covered saucepot for larger tasks such as cooking soup or pasta, three open skillets in a range of sizes (7, 10, and 11 inches), and a 9-by-13-inch cookie pan. Withstanding oven temperatures up to 350 degrees F, any pan or pot can be safely placed in the oven for warming or low-temperature cooking. Hand washing is recommended, as is the avoidance of abrasive cleaners or brushes. This ensemble comes with the manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty.

I beg to differ from the previous review. I just purchased the set and it's great. The handles have been enhanced with color coordinated silicone so they don't get hot. I even purchased the 12-inch skillet and the covered sauted pot because it's a wonderful set for the price. Regardless if you are just starting out or adding to your collection, this set is great.

First, I bought the Saute pan and use it almost every night. I LOVE IT. I am buying the 10 piece set to complete my kitchen collection. These are amazing pans.
I would highly recommend them to anyone, starting out, or as a seasoned cook.

These are very pretty pans. They are nice to look at, and appear sturdy and strong as well. They are high quality.

They are not Calphalon or All Clad pans, but as far as the realm of normal consumer nonstick pans go, these are the best I've seen.

They have a "Professional Grade" Platinum teflon finish. After using them over both gas and electric the bottoms have not deteriorated in the least. I excepted (sadly) that the pretty design would come off or get tarnished, but it hasn't.

They are thick and heat evenly. The silicon pads are very, very helpful. You can hold onto the handle without a hot pad or anything. Its very nice. Unlike others with silcon handles, it does not detract from the appearance of the pans.

I can not think of any complaints with these pans, except that they are not the supreme Calphalon, etc.
