5.0 out of 5 stars If you have never heard Bleach, think Weezer from Kentucky & no showers
Yes, it is a terrible name for a band- Bleach. Once you are able to get past the name, you will find an amount of geek rock coupled with worshipful lyrics that has never been seen before in Christian music or other circles. This album, the bands last after an incredible 10 year journey, sums up all that Bleach is, other than actually being at a show. The album starts...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good but not the best
Despite the fact that I love Bleach, I found this album to be substandard compared to what the had done in the past. It was still a great album but I felt they relied too much on the lyrics and the actual music behind them on a few of the songs was lacking; some of the lyrics, to specific songs, weren't of the usual Bleach caliber. All in all it's a good CD but not their...

The album starts off with a classic Bleach tune (Write it Down) which could easily overtake any mediocre Weezer tune from "Make Believe". But that is not where this album leaves off. Blazing tracks such as "Clear the Air", "To the Top", and "Good as Gold" really balance this set with uptempo tracks. However it is songs like "Took it By the Hand", "Condition", and "Sufficient" which really have defined the band as one who has never be ashamed of sharing hope in a dark world in way that anyone who saw them could respect. Yes, this album is more balanced with somber and excited moments than past offerings, but if you lack to see this album as the true spirit of what Bleach was and capstone accomplishment to a wonderful career, then I must quesion "have you ever really seen/heard Bleach or understood their message?"

5.0 out of 5 stars incredible finale, March 28, 2005
This review is from: Farewell Old Friends (Audio CD)
This is a great finish to an incredible career. These guys will be missed. One of the bright spots in the Christian music scene

it has the traditional bleach rockers (write it down, good as gold), great piano rock (condition) and worship music that brings back memories of bleach concerts (sufficient), and a great final song for the guys (farewell). . . even a cash tribute

If you don't have this cd.. hurry up and get it.. you will not be disapointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bleach, March 12, 2005

This CD is unbelievable. It's crazy how their final album could be their best! All these songs are filled with emotion and hope in this messed up world. This CD would be a great purchase.
