I don't know what it is about this book, but babies LOVE it. It's perfect for babies 5 months and up...easy to hold, easy to turn the pages, ok to gnaw on a little. The pictures are simple and clear. It's short on words, but inevitably you get into the animal sounds and talking about the animals and what they do. I include this with all baby shower gifts as a decoration to the top of the gift and my friends have all reported that their babies love this little gem.

Of all of the books my girls have loved to death, this is the only one I've actually gone out and bought again and again. It's a must have.

My son loves this book, he started at 6 months and still loves it at one and a half. Just pictures of animals and a label indicating what kind of animal it is. You get to do a lot of ellaborating.

My 6 month old absolutely loved this book!!! All we had to do was put it in front of him and he laughed like crazy. Beautiful pictures, and the perfect size for a baby to hold.

Typical board book, does have nice, real pictures of the animals. Take not it is a SMALL board book, about the size of your palm.

This is a cute little book and a nice size for a toddler to tote around. It is not one of my toddler's favorites and I have seen much better animal books, but it's still sweet.

This is a great book for toddlers. It's easy to handle, children enjoy the farm animal pictures and it makes a nice, inexpensive gift. Worth the purchase.

My daughter is on her second copy of this book. My daughter loved her first copy to pieces, literally. :) Fun book for little ones.

My now 2 year old likes this book. We read it so much he learned the names of the animals!

Though this book is so itty bitty it's smaller than the palm of my hand, my baby loves to look through it. The pictures capture his attention and he feels like he's "reading"

The chunky books are awesome for little toddlers to carry around and read when they want. This book often travels in the car with us and it has given him much enjoyment. He loves farm animals and likes to make the sounds of the animal as he turns the page. Great book for my little toddler.
