One of the best cookbooks ever written,

This will be the standard you reach for whenever you are baking pies, breads or cookies. As a former caterer with culinary training, I can tell you this is the first book I reach for when doing a country-homestyle menu. (It contains the FJ complete book of pies as the first section!)
I have bought copies for all of my grown children. One of my daughters even used the recipes while working as the head baker at an upscale resort last summer (adjusting for large crowds). This is a terrific book that deserves to be reprinted! |
