This review is from: Farm Safety Handbook (Country Workshop) (Paperback)
Safety may be a boring subject but let's face it, farm accidents do happen and most of them are avoidable. This book is full of color pictures so while the subject may be boring the reading is not the typically redundant dry text that you find in most owners' manuals. While most owners' manuals seem to have competing agendas, either put you to sleep or make you go completely insane from reading useless information like don't use your toaster while taking a shower (in three or more languages no less) Stuff that makes you quit reading before you get to the important stuff just so you don't go completely insane. You really can read this book without falling asleep. This book is especially good for teaching youngsters as talking may not be as descriptive as a photograph which gets the point across quickly. You may learn something that will prevent an accident, saving yourself or others from injury or even death. If you're new to farming and you don't buy this book at least borrow it. |
