Although this board book doesn't have very many pages, it makes up for it with the number of touchy-feely items per page (at least 4-5 per page) and the variety of textures (wooly, fleecy, mesh, bumpy cardboard, ribbed plastic, felt, silky, scratchy/velcro, etc.). All are high quality and integrate well into the book. There are also no flaps so it is essentially toddler-proof (i.e. you can let them play with it and you're pretty much guaranteed that they can't destroy it).

It also get big points at our house for not having too many words and for being just as entertaining for independent play as for storytime.

Great book!

My daughter is loving touchy-feely books these days and this one has multiple things to touch on each page. The pictures are great, with lots to look at.

My granddaughter LOVES this book. There are many touch & feel areas in this book. I actually purchased more of these Usborne touch & feel books after receiving this one and others.

This is another great Usborne Touchy Feely book. My 1 year old loves to sit at his little table and look at this book, turn the pages and feel all the various textures.

Not only does this book have a great story, and lots of touch and feel spots, but it can also teach animal sounds!

This is my sons favorite book! He loves it. He loves it so much we have given it as a gift twice.
However, two of the books came damaged. It is a hassle to wait for a new book to arrive while sending back the damaged one. Kids at this age grow out of things like this too quickly.
