This is a fantastic book. I don't know how I managed from day to day without it. For instance I was getting worried that zombies would take over my farm. I was relieved that this book explained to me that that was a different game altogether and that they are completely separate, and the zombies from the game I had not signed up for wouldn't rise.
I have found a number of tactics and techniques in this book that I am now able to use in real life.
This book has been a real lifesaver. I don't know what I would have done without it. I no longer have to cry myself to sleep at night, now that I have it for comfort.
It was able to provide enough instruction to be able to not only repair my car ( using the section on tractor maintenance ) but is able to advise me on other things such as choosing good combinations for my crops and self-defence techniques using only farming implements.
Without this book my life, and farm was incomplete.

Why yes, as a matter of fact, it is. Very happy they have printed a book stating the obvious. Great!

This book changed my life. While masquerading as a simple Flash-based game centered around a farm, FarmVille is really an in-depth critique of the capitalist way of life. It entices you to promote your own senseless works above those of others, and pester your Facebook friends into accepting your "requests" as a profit-generating side-quest. It taught me that greed and mindless drudgery are the way to get ahead in today's world.

Viewed through another lens, FarmVille for Dummies is a indispensable guide to the indoctrination of thinking individuals into mindless servitude of the all-knowing Zynga Corporation.

Oh, and cows.

All I can say is, Shakespeare and da Vinci, look out! Never before have words been so eloquent; never has art been so full color.

Between the scintillating text and the incredible full color pictures, this treasure of literature truly is the end-all of writing and (full color) art. Nothing will ever surpass this; there is no need for anything to again be published. We might as well just declare the publishing industry (and, really Western Civilization) over with the announcement of this book. This is a pinnacle that cannot be surpassed.

One word of warning, though: if you are afraid of hard truths, this book may not be for you. It contains (in full color) the deepest secrets of life and of love. You will weep, you will laugh, you'll find yourself living joyously, working harder and taking on causes like stopping foreign dictators with Facebook "likes" without fear.

And your farm - your Facebook farm - will blossom like a genetically modified sunflower. You'll have people queuing up to farm your virtual crops for you. In fact, you'll have people so enthralled with your farm that they'll want to come over and clean your house, do your yardwork and cook your food for you - things that you will no longer have time for because you've become a Farmville God.

The only thing lacking in this incredible tome are more pictures of the cast from Jersey Shore. But I suppose that perfection is just not for this world; in the mean time, this is close as you can get.

This book taught me everything I need to know about farmville! From using my mouse to plant and plow crops to opening and closing the facebook application. I took away 1 star though because it has not told me now to convert my farmville cash to real money. For 10 dollars I was expecting this book to tell me this sort of information.

I have only skimmed over it but it looks very interesting. Anyone who is as much of a farmville nut as I, needs to get this book!

This book was terrible. The entire plot is completely given away on the cover of the book. The reading of this book ensures that shallow and listless plot development enacted by the writer of this drivel will in-fact be enacted upon your own person. Farmville for dummies is "preachy" at best. It prescribes a method of success that in and of itself can only possibly lead to rampant sterility, blindness, and possibly bankrupt your grandchildren. Please for the love of all that is holy, stop playing Farmville, quit admitting that you want to be better at it, and purchase a swift kick in the butt, as it makes more sense than this book even existing.

A book that does not need to exist at all, for a game that does not need to exist at all. It should of been a flip book, pop up maybe, or just a haiku, instead it's 288 pages illustrating why Angela Morales and Kyle Orland are getting rich while you atrophy. When I say this game does not need to exist, there is no subtext, this is the product on an infomercial that solves a problem that does not exist. Being worthless and accomplishing nothing has never been easier. It's breathtaking how misappropriated your time must be, if you not only play the game but read a book about how to be better at it. So far the only people that I know who own this "book" are actually intellectually disabled.
