Covers the farmall tractor family very well for those years most appropriate for collecting and restoring. Pictures are outstanding and a great aid to someone restoring am incomplete tractor. Just enough technical data to establish advances in capability and options to aid selection of a favorite to acquire or covet, but not enough to do any serious restoring. A very nice and easy to follow review of the great Farmall line. Absolutely fantastic pictures.

We purchased this beautiful book as a gift for my dad for his birthday. He has two Farmall tractors which he restored himself and enjoys entering them into shows and competitions. He is very knowledgeable of this brand, but he was very impressed with the information and the gorgeous photographs. He also said there was a good amount of history about Farmall that he was not aware of and it was very enjoyable to read about.

My husband and I flipped through the book when it was received and I have to say it was far more than we expected for the price. The photography is exquisite.

If you are a tractor enthusiast, you will love this book!

My 84 year old uncle ran an International Harvester store in the 1950's in a small rural Minnesota city. Once about 10 years ago I gave him a "John Deere" photo frame as a gift and that is when I got the low down on FARMALL! :-) My uncle is a real Farmall "Red" tractor man. So after I got educated, it has been my mission to include this red tractor on birthday cards, a coffee mug and whatever else red tractor appropriate comes my way. This year for some reason I wondered if there was a book that would go into the history of Farmall Tractors? I found this book on Amazon and read some of the reviews--all favorable and took a chance ordering the soft cover book having it sent to me first. It is truly a great book for memories it has detailed pictures, advertisements and pictures of Farmall toys. The paperback book is rugged--really a nice one. My uncle is so thrilled with it he couldn't stop thanking me. It is a winner!

Hubbie is a big Red Power guy, so I gave him this book for his birthday. He loved it. Major brownie points for me! I thought about getting the hardback for durability but it was too expensive. Turns out the paperback is very rugged, so it was a good choice.

I am restoring my great-grandfather's 1946 IH I-4 and I wanted some more background information on this tractor. Every time I open the cover, I learn something new about Farmall/McCormick/IH tractors. I highly recommend it!

This book is everything we were looking for when choosing a book for our son. He requested one that would have complete descriptions and pictures of farmall tractors starting with the very old and antique models to later models. This had it all. He enjoys it very much and it could be a coffee table book to enjoy over and over. Our whole family enjoyed looking and reading it from cover to cover.

it was a present for my boyfriends father for fathers day! hes a farmer and loves old tractors! he always tells us something hes learned from the book when we go over there :-)
