One of the best, if not THE best iced tea I ever had, was served at a little cafe beside a golf course in Arizona. I asked the cook/waitress what type of tea they used, and she told me Farmer Brothers brand out of Flagstaff. So I ordered a box of the Farmer Brothers Black Tea bags. Each tea bag they say makes a gallon of iced tea. She had a special machine to brew hers in, but I just use a large saucepan, pour hot water in it, and put the lid on it and let it steep for five minutes or so. When making mine, I use only three quarts of boiling water. I guess the difference in the amount of water it takes is the machine, which I priced, and they started at $500.00. However, you can still make the same great tea using just a little less water.

This is, without a doubt, the best ice tea you can find. However, $22 is twice what this product sells for direct from Farmer Brothers. I have been using this tea for over 40 years. I buy an entire case at a time (12 boxes)--directly from the Farmer Brothers warehouse. Google the name and it should pull up warehouses in your area; call them and find out what hours they're open to the public--our most local one is open 9AM-Noon Fridays only. The price may have gone up in the past year; but, a year ago I paid $10.25/box for it.

I had the best ice tea ever at a bar and grill (Chuy's) in Phoenix Arizona.
I inquired and found that they used Farmer Brother's Ice Tea.
Now, I can enjoy the best ice tea ever at home!

This arrived on time and in great condition, I just wasn't expecting such large tea bags. Farmers brother is the BEST iced tea, I stop by the doughnut store every morning (pretty much) and pick up a large Iced Tea for work. Hoping to recreate this at home, but still working on the water to tea ratio.

Wish I could find these in kcups for my Keurig

I first used this brand to make iced tea years ago when my husband was in the restaurant business in Arizona. It was wonderful tea then. When I saw it offered on Amazon, I ordered it. I threw out the first batch of iced tea I made and all of the rest of the tea bags I received in my order. The current quality of this tea is awful. The taste was positively vile. Lipton, unbelievably, has better flavor. What a shame that this once great brand has been reduced to this.
