I bought the 2009 version and I loved it, so of course I got the 2010. Love the week-at-a-glance format, which spreads across the two pages of the open book. The spine opens flat (and stays open!) so I can write in it easily. Each day has a nice big space to write in, and there are places to write lists, etc. There are lots of little folksy facts, along with nature and gardening information. And it's reasonably priced! All in all, it's great!

I'm disappointed in this calendar-the pages are not sturdy like that calendars I usually purchase and the size is a bit awkward-it is a bit tall and would not fit in a large pocketbook, for example. Also the brown/tan paper as opposed to white does not make appointments written in easily noticed.

I have used several engagement calendars over the years, and once I found The Old Farmer's Almanac's version, I haven't purchased anything else. I love that each full week is shown over two pages, with plenty of space for each individual day to write in whatever we need. I have four children with plenty of activities, and I am able to keep track of everything. The pages lay flat, with a hard cover on each side, so it's easy to write in. I keep my planner open all the time on the counter, and it has become everyone's home base for keeping track of our busy life. There is even a little blank space on each week for "reminders", and throughout the book there are quotes, trivia, holidays, and even the phases of the moon. This is a functional and charming book that I will not be without.
