This review is from: Farmers of Forty Centuries Or Permanent Agriculture in China, Korea and Japan (Hardcover)
Though Asian agriculture may not seem to be of interest to all, this book offers anyone who likes to grow things a look at logical simplicity in the use of land--permaculture at its best. It also adds to the history of the world, by providing obscure details about farming-village life, and many photos. Every culture has wisdom to pass on to another, and this book also features the cultural quirks and foibles alongside the logic.
